BOOK MEMMMMMME. I am a total bookworm, so this is awesome. *cheezes*
1984! Yes!
Nnnngh, French slays me too. Baudelaire=♥, also.
Oh thank god someone else shares my eternal disdain for Jane Austen. I live in a household of three other females who are all ga-ga over her books (and the movies that were based off of said books), and I'm just like... really?! I've always found her characters to be so pretentious and boring, I don't understand how anyone could suffer through any of her novels without being either bored to death or just plain offended.
Omfg The Wasteland. Yes. Yesyesyes. The Hollow Men still sends me into epileptic fits every time. (Semi-related fact: I'm using the last few stanzas of Hollow Men as a blanket intro quote for one of my Cas/Dean stories. :D)
You are the first person who has ever agreed with me that Before Night Falls was all kinds of splendid. :)
Hitchhiker's Guide FTMFW.
I THINK IT LOVE YOU for naming both Meyer and Rice as overrated. I couldn't agree more. I pride myself on my determination to get through any book, no matter if I hate it or not, but I seriously just threw Twilight across the room before I finished it. Never went back either. Seriously, whoever finds me something that's actually original in that book/entire series - I will give them a million fucking dollars. BECAUSE IT'S NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE BOOKS ARE HORRIBLE AND PREDICTABLE AND GAH. HATE. HAAAAATE.
*hops off my soapbox*
Oh Misha. How is he possible?
Also, why does no one else know who Warren Zevon is? I am bothered by this.
