The novel of Whats Eating Gibert Grape is gorgeous. So gorgeous. Even though Gilbert is played by Johnny Depp in the film I didn't truly fall in love with Gilbert till I read the book *cries*

I read 1984 in high school, after reading Animal Farm. I remember finding is scary and thrilling, but I'd probably get more out of it now.
