I think it's because of what you said. I mean, I tried to watch it a couple of times mostly because there was the former secretary from Ally McBeal which used to be my favorite show, but I think that I just don't get it. I like the setting but most of the jokes completely fly over my head. This round the only times I was cracking up were when JBJ was on screen but I doubt that it was casual. ;) Also I sort of really don't like/never warmed up to Alec Baldwin, and also considering the whole NY thing I probably just don't get the whole deal. And ha, I actually love Monty Python and get most of that stuff but when they're strictly British I don't get that either.
