ours is basically the same
our bachelor degree is called an undergraduate degree --> honours program (extra year of study where we write a big long thesis) --> post graduate studies (masters and phds).

you don't really need to do anything in addition to the bachelor degree, especially coz i'm doing law but Honours looks shiny on a business card and since i got offered to do it i might. idk. we'll see ;)
