On 8th december 1943...
What I should say about him? He was my third great love (in chronological order) after BJ and Bruce Springsteen, I've been listening to the Doors' music for something like six years going to seven and at the time they really opened my doors of perception. Now it gets me angry only to think about Ray Manzarek, the whole 2001-new-doors thing and shit, but at least there is still one sane man in there (Densmore). At least he's not here to see the shit they make with his name. So... he would be 66 now. Mh. I sincerely can't imagine him at that age though. Hope he's fine wherever he is... and thanks for your music.
