*thinks* well, Sandor/Sansa is definitely not the kind of ship I usually go for (for one, IT'S HET!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME? ;) ), and I did resist at once, but it didn't exactly last long. Saying that I ship it like burning now covers it, but at the beginning it was weird because as stated I usually don't do het and I usually never care for characters under sixteen either way, so the fact that I'M ACTUALLY SO VERY INVESTED IN IT still feels weird at times. But I got over it. ;) In that sense I suppose I should be surprised at Jaime/Brienne too but the moment I got over the 'I SHIP HET??!!!' thing I realized that they totally fell into one of my two basic ships templates so it's totally not unusual.

1) Okay, this is going to be more than one OTP XD Robb/Theon would be one, Bruce/Tony from the Avengers would be another though I don't see myself writing fic for that fandom anytime soon (DAUUUNTIIING), Jaime/Brienne (WHAT NEWS) and well I'm always into Dean/Cas, though right now I'm reading more with those other three. (... okay, mainly the second since there's not much new fic for the ASOIAF ones, but eeeh.)

4) Sam/Gabriel from SPN? I mean, it's not that I wished I liked it but more, I wish I'd get it - because as much as I look at how popular it is I don't really get where it comes from or why most of it is relatively angstless when if I had to write it I'd make it the hugest angstfest ever. And I wish I was more enthusiastic about Renly/Loras but for some reason even if it's actually canon I don't really get fannish over it (when if there's some canon m/m ship I'm usually all over it).

11) Uuuuhm. I'm limiting this to stuff I'm actually active in. SPN: everyone in my FL is awesome, people who have been spending the summer being like 'aaah WE DON'T WANT MORE CASTIEL S8 HAS TO FOCUS ON SAM&DEAN ONLY' (as if S7 didn't do just that) are making me headdesk like crazy. ASOIAF: on LJ I've just had awesome interaction and everyone I know who is in that fandom is absolutely awesome so I think all the good things. On tumblr... well, let's say that considering what I go searching for I spend my time running into Theon haterade/bashing/etcetc, my opinion would be that if you hate on Theon without even bothering to understand where he comes from then I don't hold you in a very high esteem. And idg why it seems that there's always perpetual arguing (always on tumblr), but whatever. I'm just there for the pretty pictures.

4 - I've read some fanfic for SamxGabriel, but I never got to understand them as a pairing either. I read fic for it because it was from an author I looooooved. And yeah, why is it happy? EXACTLY! Also, one of the reasons why I love SansaxSandor is because Sansa starts off as very superficial and head-in-clouds, and her ideal man is basically someone like Jaime - wickedly hot, a great knight, seemingly shiny and fun, very charming. But then the whole fantasy falls apart, and she's got someone like Sandor - disfigured, gruff, angry and blunt. And ultimately, it's Sandor that gives her the time of day. I've always felt that SanSan happening would be the ultimate proof that Sansa grew up. The same can be said about JaimexBrienne. Jaime admiting some sort of romantic feelings towards Brinne would be the final step of his character development and it would mean he FINALLY left Cersei and the Lannister web of self-destruction behind him. Well, fuck me sideways if this isn’t the weirdest thing that I’ve ever seen, Jane thinks as she stares at what’s going on in front of her.

More specifically, at this blonde, tall woman that appeared out of fucking nowhere wearing some kind of medieval armor or what the fuck is it called, and whose only womanly trait is probably her eyes. Who, the moment people started to shout and try to restrain her or something, had proceeded to knock out at least five men that were on her at the same time, all this while looking pretty fucking surprised, and who wouldn’t.

Jane looks at her whiskey bottle – there’s not much left. She shrugs and drinks what’s left of it, then aims it at the head of this guy she never learned the name of who’s trying to knock out the what-the-fuck-is-she-wearing-woman coming up at her back.

It hits him in the shoulder, but it’s enough to put him momentarily down.

Some cocksuckers shout about getting the sheriff or a posse or more me or other shit like that and a moment there it’s just the two of them. The woman turns towards Jane, noticing the man cursing on the ground, and she looks at Jane with two ridiculous wide blue eyes that you wouldn’t bet belonged to someone who can throw that kind of mean punch.

“Was that you?” she asks, looking down at the guy.

Jane isn’t sure she’s hearing that right, but whatever.

“It’s Brienne, my – Jane. Brienne of Tarth.”

As far as Jane knows, a place named Tarth doesn’t exist anywhere, but she has this doubt that wherever Brienne comes from, there’s no place named Deadwood either.

She leaves Brienne in there, trying to see if she can find something of Moses that might fit her – at least a shirt. But when she gets back to where Brienne is, she decides that it’s not necessary. With a pair of shoes that don’t seem out of some five centuries ago, the rest of the clothing might do.

“Good damn thing that you don’t need these,” she says, tossing the clothes in the corner. Someone will find them, she supposes. “You can sit down, y’know. Before Bullock comes ridin’ here in all his mighty and righteous glory, I suppose you might get comfortable.”

“Bullock?”

“The sheriff. Suppose you don’t know what a sheriff is, do you?”

“I’m afraid I do not. But still, thank you for –”

“Jesus, girl, if you thank me another time I’m gonna throw a fucking bottle at your head. Actually, y’know what, a drink sounds good right now.”

“Is that customary, here?”

Jane, who had been searching for something better than cheap brandy in her stash of alcohol, can’t help laughing at that. “Maybe not for well-behaved girls, but I never was one of ‘em. And That said, ‘course it’s customary. Why, they don’t do it where you come from?”

“Well, it’s – not exactly – I mean, true knights shouldn’t get drunk all the time. That’s not very chilvarous.”

True knights what?

“Girl, if you keep on speaking like that, everyone’s gonna think that you’re some kind of crazy person just because of it and not ‘cause you appeared out of nowhere. And I think that you need a fucking drink.”

She takes a drink from the bottle she picked – same as the whiskey she was having before, but not as cheap as the brandy anyway – and she hands it over to Brienne, who looks at it as if it’s – Jane doesn’t know, but not the way sane people usually look at alcohol.

“I do? And do people – curse a lot, here?”

“Just give it a damn try. And it seems like you’re learnin’ already.”

Brienne takes a drink from the bottle and she looks about ready to spit it out, but she forces himself to swallow.

“That burned,” she comments, and the more Jane looks at her the more she thinks that she’s a lot younger than she looks, and seriously, how does she know to throw that kind of punch.

“That fucking burned,” Jane corrects, sitting down next to her new guest.

“That… fucking burned,” Brienne says as she tentatively hands the whiskey over, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

“Not bad. If you manage not to sound like you’re selling your soul whenever you say that word, you might even survive just fucking fine.”

Brienne looks at her with wide eyes as she nods tentatively.

Jane has no idea of what this entire thing means, but as she takes another drink and hands the bottle over to Brienne, she resolves that before three hours, the girl will be able to say cocksucker without blushing like some kind of twelve-year-old virgin.

And Littlefinger would totally try to get E.B. to sell him the hotel.

I'd probably ask for some western AU where some plot happens, some porn preferably happens and everyone is happy when it's over, mostly because my ships of choice lately have been SO DEPRESSING I CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT and I just want people to get something good in their life. 16: okay, I'm giving you two since I'm here XD one is a D/C one I'm hoping to write for this bigbang I signed for and the other is a total cracky thing I thought up yesterday evening and that I'm not sure is ever going to exist but whatever, we're talking about plots.

a) SPN, Dean/Castiel, regency AU-that-is-full-of-clichés-like-no-other: Dean lives in Boston or somewhere on the coast in the US, working as a carpenter and following in his father's shoes when he gets a letter from his brother Sam, who has been living in England with some *rich* relatives of his mother who took him in after their mother died in a fire ages before. Sam is getting married to this other *rich* high class girl and wants Dean to come to the wedding and possibly spend an undefined time there - they haven't seen each other in years and he wants to reconnect etc. So Dean says yes and on the boat he meets this guy with perching blue eyes who says he's a businessman going back to England from Boston and they click and they end up having crazy hot sex in a hidden corner on the ship. Except that when Dean gets there he finds out that this guy gave him a false name - his real one is Castiel and he's the cousin of the girl Sam is marrying. And from then on it goes like, Dean hates the bride's family (and his mom's), Castiel hates them as well, there's longing and eyefucking and interesting activities in opera theaters and a bunch of other clichés that I can't go put in here or this comment would end up split in three parts.

b) Game of Thrones/ASOIAF: 70s AU where Westeros is still a separated continent or something with monarchies (but not as absolute as in the regular version) and Winterfell is basically a hippie commune where everyone has sex with whoever they want as long as they're all in the age of consent and not *close* relatives. The rest of the continent is split between approving of it and thinking that it's an insane way of living. The people living at Winterfell couldn't give a damn, especially because since they started doing it everyone is happier. In my head it included a bunch of subplots like Theon escaping from home because the more his dad says horrible things about it the more he wants to go live there and hitchhiking from Pyke to Winterfell and getting rides in the Volkswagen vans a la Lost. Yes, I probably smoked something good yesterday.

Mmmmh I wish I was more into Steve/Tony? I mean, I get it, but with the fact that I haven't read the comics and that the only canon I know is the movie one (and I've seen just Avengers) I'm still not totally down with the ship. But I suppose that when I catch up with the rest of the movies and get some comic book culture behind me I might be a lot more into it than I am right now. ;)

Lost: Desmond's blue shirt was originally Sawyer's. It's just that Charlie or someone else stole it from Sawyer's stash while he wasn't around. Yes, I know I wrote crack fic on the subject, but I did it also because I totally believed it really happened. Come on, who else in that camp would have that kind of stylish shirt still hidden somewhere?

SPN: you know that very canon obsession that Dean has with Clint Eastwood? I think it was totally celebrity crush worthy material, not just hero worship or whatever it's called when guys are into Clint's kind of character. This is mostly brought to you by the fact that a) during the western episode, whenever Clint was mentioned, he was having reactions very much similar to the ones *I* have when he's mentioned and b) that only someone who has a serious crush on Clint has seen the movies where he had the pet monkey enough times to be outraged when someone else doesn't remember that it's named Clyde. Also, those movies were pretty much Clint being half-naked for 70% of the time. Yes, it's a very shallow headcanon, but there's a reason why if I ever met Dean I'd be like 'LET'S BE BFFS FOR LIFE' without secondary thoughts. ;)
