Well, I know one of my friends (the one I talked about before, who thought Theon should already be unrecognizable, jfc) was really bothered/disappointed with that scene and the Reeds in general, which I totally don't get. I might ask him tomorrow, since I'm seeing him for lunch, though.
I was actually considering the Martells too, but then left them out precisely because of that reason (not exactly by Westerosi standards), lol. I mean, they're allowed to have multiple lovers, right? Obery had both male and female ones. And then there are The Sand Snakes, his bastard daughters (each with a different woman, I believe). But I mean, as far as Dorne customs go, I think they're pretty functional. Except I guess Arianne did betray her father by taking Myrcella on her own, so yeah.
Btw, I'm pretty excited by the fact that GRRM himself wrote the script for The Bear and the Maiden Fair episode. Not that the other writers aren't good, but I always have more faith when he's the oen writing, since they ARE his characters and books, after all. So I feel there won't be many character assassinations (of bodysnatchers, as you put it).
