Basically...Lost is about the island, Kate's triangle, Locke and Ben...

Everyone else is pawns and will be sacrificed as and when. I can't even say I care much about "the death they are taking back". Even if he survives he never gets any screentime.

But Sayid/Des apocalypse fic?!! Sayid epics? SWEET!
