Then, happy 4th of July to my American flisters and not-so-happy 4th of July to us Italians since it was the day after the Republic of Rome completely collapsed in 1849, if I don't remember wrong. Hey, I might not be patriotic but I'll have to know something about my country's history, right?

Also, new layout. I wanted me some pretty and I put the pretty on display. And in a while I'll probably be off to finish seeing The Apartment again, since I bought the dvd and I wanted to see it again but had to cut it in half yesterday evening.

As for icons, do you know what I lack? An icon of Sayid smiling. For some reason, I just don't have one. Any chance you might be able to hook me up with something? Even if it's just something that's already in existence that you could just point me too, I'd be very grateful :)

As for the great 4th of July ... I'm quite patriotic myself, but could do without my idiot neighbor shooting off bottle rockets into our yard every two minutes. Not only is it frightening the wildlife (my baby bunny's about having a breakdown), it's making it extemely hard to write. Lol Can't the man settle for some sparklers, for the love of god?? ; )

Thanks for the link about the collapse of the republic. I know so little about the hundreds of years of Italian history between the fall of the Roman empire and the rise of Mussolini.
