I've been trying to do a political post for a week but couldn't find how to put it.

Then today I was linked this and... well, except for my PM's new declarations about Lybia and public school being full of evil teachers indoctrinating kids, this pretty much covers everything for which he should be made fun of. to be 100% truthful: the first time I watched it I laughed like crazy, then I watched it a second time and I wanted to cry from embarrassment (because if this is what people get of this country from the outside then it's really true that we lost all credibility). (PS: don't mind the Italian subs/title, it was the first I had on hand XD)

Be right back cursing the existence of this man and hoping that I don't have to wait another two years to vote.

It's true, it's true. It lacks his last famous words (aka: 'I'm not calling Gheddafi because I wouldn't want to disturb', 'I'll never accept adoptions for gay couples and single parents', 'in public schools teachers indoctrinate children against what family teaches them'), but the rest is spot-on. And yes he's still in charge and he was also bffs with GWB so no apologies, they're the same kind of awful. Except that GWB at least didn't have sex with underage girls. *sighs* ♥

It occurs to me belatedly that being a mindless Brooker fangirl made my comment sound condescending whilst completely missing the point. I got so excited to see him on my flist that I apparently lost all reason. I'm really sorry that you've been so let down by your leader and that these things have been allowed to happen. No worries at all! ♥ heck, if I lived in England I'd totally be a mindless fangirl for the guy indeed, I always appreciate good satire. ;) Actually I think he totally summarized everything that has to be said about my PM better than I could (and it's nice to know foreign people actually see him for what he is), it's just that I wish he didn't have to crack jokes about the PM because I just want said PM to disappear. ;) And hey good thing if seeing Brooker on the FL did make you excited! ♥

The problem is, we go back to voting, and somehow he's still in charge, even if everybody swears left and right that they don't like him and haven't voted for him.

And we're stuck with this criminal messing up our contry for the next million years. And the consequences will be felt long before he's gone (if he ever will).

... now I need a cheer-me-up. Wonder if I can read fic at work, mmm.

Word. Which is why on one side I -don't- want to go voting since I'm totally not sure that people have actually understood how poisonous he is. Then again I just can't take his face anymore. And yeah the only person I know who is actually proud of voting for him is my grandma's sister *headdesk* but the rest? Apparently no one likes him and there he is. Still.

At some point he'll have to die, right...? *sigh* He'll die being PM I fear. *headdesk* *goes to find fluff fic*

I guess most people don't like him but agree with his political party, which is why they still keep voting it. But still, we're gonna end up hated by the whole world, they should understand when it's time to send him home, right?? Apparently not.

I bet you that when he dies, he comes back three days later saying: "You fell for it, just kidding!".

Don't you *adore* how they all justify those dirty money with 'oh, it's because he loves me, so he gives me money'. It's the thing that angers me most, because they've reached a point when they are not even trying to hide, they simply make fun of us upfront. I feel like I've lost all dignity, just by living in this country...it's not a good feeling, waking up to know you and the rest of the sane country can't make the difference about anything here.

Anyway, I sort of enjoy when other countries bash us for this...because at least I feel validated in my hate. Otherwise I would start having second thoughts that maybe WE are the ones in the wrong. :/ Brainwashing is a terrifying weapon.

Exactly. Not to mention girls' parents being like 'go have sex with him!' in wiretappings. X___X Not to mention that a guy who spends his nights like that won't do that much of a good job during the day, especially at his age, but who cares? Apparently just us. And if it consoles you I have that feeling as well. Heck, I can't be ashamed of living in my own country because of that idiot, I'd like to think we're better than that but then again he got elected three times, what do I say? *sigh*

Ah, I totally sort of masochistically enjoy it too. At least it means that we are still sane and someone else actually agrees with us here. ♥
