Seen this at [livejournal.com profile] a_carnal_mink's and since I haven't done it in years I figured I could give it a go too.

If Sun City is your favorite charity song you and me are going to get along SO WELL. ;) It's totally mine too and I'm very sad that it isn't more well-known.

2. Nope, the person above got it - it's Ben. E. King. ;)
17. IT IS JOHN FRUSCIANTE! <3 but yeah that pic has a very 70s style.
23. Nope. Those ones are from New Jersey and have a thing for quoting Springsteen. ;)

I'm very sad that it isn't more well-known.

Criminal, really. It was a decent hit in Australia at the time because it had Peter Garrett from Midnight Oil on it. :) But it's really sad to see it become so forgotten since. It was the only charity record that wasn't smaltzy and limp - thing kicked arse!

23 - Gaslight Anthem then?

I KNOW? That song actually rocks. Might be that Little Steven isn't really the kind for mushy songs with cheesy lyrics (for which I'm totally happy), but it was just a darn good song other than being for a good cause. Meh, it's really criminal indeed. :/ I think it did decently in some European countries too but still, a pity.

Aaand correct re Gaslight Anthem!
