Vampire porn: okay listen this season doesn't seem like the epitome of coherent plot to me, but the Originals-related spin-off made it look like old school HBO in comparison. I'm not even going to bother with spoiler cutting, but I've never seen anything more ridiculous in my entire life. Okay, Ringer was probably as bad if not worse in certain points, but hahahahaha no. Considering that I really don't care about Klaus regardless I'm... not watching it. Nope. Sticking with the good old vampire porn, thanks.

6) I've also seen IM3! :D even if I still haven't seen the second. I'm a horrible fan. Whatever. No spoilers because seriously I watch those movies mostly for fun and I don't really have anything deep to say, but it was a good movie, I had a lot of fun, at least I caught it in English and the post-credits scene completely killed me in all the good ways. Anyone who's seen it knows what I mean. And if you know how I tick then you probably guessed why I've been all like THE POST-CREDITS SCENE since yesterday. Also if someone had told me that I'd go watch RDJ being Iron Man when I was dying over him when he was in Ally McBeal I'm not sure I'd have bought it, but it's all good. NOW SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE CAPTAIN AMERICA SEQUEL THANK YOU I need that certain character back in my life.

1. Hiiii. I should have known that going to Paris would have meant spending the four days after being back moping like I rarely moped, but it was totally worth it. I have pictures which will be posted sometimes after I'm done with the three exchange fics I'm wrapping up. But damn if it wasn't so worth it.

That said, everyone who wanted a postcard should have gotten one - I'm saying -should- because for weight-of-my-bag reasons I couldn't bring my laptop and clearly I brought my address book, but I had the genius idea of not putting inside it the piece of paper I had written with the names of the people who wanted one. *facepalm* I think I remembered right enough, but if you wanted one and end up not getting it.. sorry. I owe you another at some point.

3. That stated, last call for Christmas cards! They'll so totally be late, I know that already, but since I know I'll be able to go to my usual store in a couple of days, I'll leave this here again.

Also, I'm so behind on TV it isn't even funny, but at some point after I'm done with the fics referenced in 1, expect a long and ranty post about how gloriously mindfuckingly GOOD was the Boardwalk Empire finale, all of this spiced with a good deal of virtual tears. If anyone wants to discuss in comments after a spoiler warning, I WANT TO DISCUSS IT.

In I-don't-even-know news, after the high school reunion I'm apparently facing a junior high reunion. And yoga started again, and it's been glorious. At least that.

1. First thing, birthdays grab-bag since there's a bunch of people having some yesterday/today/tomorrow and seen my track record lately it isn't a given that I'll manage a post each day, lol. Also tomorrow I'll probably end up spamming with old fic or posting new stuff so I figure I'll do it now.

4. Life has been fairly uneventful lately. The fact that I don't go to the cinema anymore because the huge one giving movies in original language with subtitles has closed just made it even less eventful, and going like once each month when I manage feels massively weird. Though I've been reading a bunch of stuff which is fairly good at least because I'm actually finishing books instead of starting too many and not finishing anything.

5. Also my favorite class this year includes doing group work (eeeek!), except that no one else wants to work on the article I volunteered for. I just hope it's a question of subject, but tbh while I hate group work I don't even want to explain shit about ancient greek philosophy on my own or at least without someone to share the blame with if I say crap. xD Also I have to stop myself from snorting whenever Anaximander is mentioned, which is becoming a problem. Also last day we were supposed to download a program while in class -- the speed was 6.6 kbs per second. Obviously no one managed. Clearly universities can't afford a decent wireless..

6. Also uhm how is everyone doing with notifications? Because I'm sure I received a huge backlog but not a bunch from the first three days of the fiasco. Am I the only one? *looks around*

7. Anyway, going to work on a post about stuff to do/see in Rome which I had promised to some JIB-headed friends and possibly finish some more fic and feeling like I'm not slacking off while masterfully avoiding to think about the group work possible fiasco.

I swear when _izu_ linked that to me I stared for a while being like no, I made it up in my head. WHAT. It never happens that people draw something because they like shit I write. It might have totally done my day yesterday. Now I feel like I should make myself an account on DA just to thank them personally because really.

5. That said, I promised wandersfound that I'd upload some Stone Temple Pilots for her so there it is under the cut. Two records and random songs, all on mediafire because it was more convenient for me but I can put them somewhere else if needed.

My next exam is Modern History, and apart from the regular textbook, we have one that deals with witch hunting in Europe. Which is way, way funnier than most stuff I usually do. It's all gore, blood, sex, supernatural, references to the Malleus Maleficarum and it discusses Lucifer's sexuality. Yep.

What worries me is that from the stills some of the plot looks very similar to the scepter of Moses movie, which will probably just double the fun, but still.

This entry is becoming NC17 rated and tomorrow I need to go to uni in the morning to finally get a piece of paper stating that I know English (!!) and getting myself ten credits so I'll probably go crash on the bed. 2. Aand, today is crush #1's birthday! (Crush #1 is Jon Bon Jovi, for anyone who wasn't around for a long while.) I still think that he lives in a refrigerator when he isn't on tour because he doesn't look 48 at all, but still. (Also, if this year I don't land a BJ gig it'll be a goddamn joke. I've been doing the fangirling business for ten years, it's ridiculous.) Also, according to the band's facebook page, I could actually call some American number and leave the guy a birthday message but I don't really think it'll ever be the case. That'd be way too weird. Though, cool thing I guess. I'll have to admit their facebook is a totally cool thing. (Also it's adorable that the four of them use Twitter from the band's account, but I won't digress, especially because last month I actually sent crush #1 a tweet when he said he was learning to use the whole thing and that was surreal enough. *cough*) Anyway. Last year I went and uploaded These Days which is my favorite record, this year I'm uploading Keep The Faith which is my second favorite.

3. This term's classes have a crappy schedule. It'll suffice to say that one is on Saturday at 8.30 AM. *headdesk* But. It's my last term. Not ever because I'll have another two years after the bachelor degree but it is until next year at least. It's kind of scary-ish.

4. Random movies talking: Invictus was awesome. Not the Gran Torino/Iwo Jima movies kind of awesome but still, <33. Also, the soundtrack is ridiculously good. And then I went and managed to find myself a copy of Help! which was my only Beatles movie missing and it was awesome, even if not at the A Hard Day's Night levels. Even though the priestess which was a total Paul fangirl and the ending titles were totally worth it alone.

5. I fear I don't have much more interesting stuff to say for today unless we talk politics and I already can't wait to be done with regional elections in a month. *sigh* I'll probably go studying some, even if the weather is too good to waste the afternoon on pedagogy.

6. Blah, I wrote a lot less for the lostsquee fic battle than I'd have liked, but the last week I basically buried myself in St. Thomas. I'd have rather written fic, but I did chunk out at least seven ficlets so I guess I'll be satisfied with that. And I'll finish the two I had started and didn't manage to finish asap.

7. Lost is back in three days for me, YAY!!! Damn you all Americans/Canadians who get it in two, lol. But it's kind of fun that now I'll get to see it on Wednesday which was the usual day for everyone else. Anyway. I'm hopeful and confident that this season will be better than S5, mostly because a) doing better than S5 can't be too hard and b) ( SPOILERS ). Even if damn, I don't know if I'm ready for it to be the last season but whatever, for now I won't let it creep up on me.

8. Okay, this has probably got too long already so I'll cut it here and, uh, either go writing or collapse to bed with some book.
