the random post just because. And Steve Earle is a fearlessly independent human being.
1. So today I was at this record store and they had more or less near each other Chinese Democracy and The Songs of Pete Seeger vol II featuring a cover by Steve Earle. Guess what I bought, same price?
2. And then there's the mini bio inside and they say that determined to be his own man, Steve Earle has walked through his personal and professional fire and emerged as a fearlessly independent musician and human being. Seriously, that's awesome. Apart from the fact that is true, but still. I love Steve Earle. I seriously do. And that record is all kinds of awesome.
3. Also, Lucinda Williams' new record is all kinds of awesome too. She sings with Elvis Costello and covers AC/DC! That woman is so made of winning material.
4. God, whoever did the whole angels hierarchy for Supernatural should go back to Sunday school ASAP. (the fan mix kinda became a fic mix. That's why I'm going crazy over it. But I think I'll be gladly ignoring the whole thing or I'll go crazy.)
5. I passed 35000 words. Maybe I'm actually finishing that thing. But I need to hit 40000 tomorrow evening.
6. Ouch, I was so hoping to see Rachel Getting Married in English and of course it isn't in either of the original language cinemas here *sigh*. Even if of course there's Twilight. Guess you can't have anything. (by the way, it's just that I don't care about Twilight.)
7. So the only effect that the new Lost promo had was making me want to write Jack/Sayid. And since when I'm done with the novel I need to get on the Lost Hohoho assignment (but I think I'll be quick on that, I have it plotted out already) and on that time travel bunny before any other promo destroys it and I have one week of pauses between lectures at university during which it's pointless to go to the library (I'm talking of twenty minutes spans of time) or try to read anything..
