I just thought that I would never get an occasion when someone wouldn't roll her eyes at me to go all Springsteen over fic, y'know? ;) and glad we share the opinion on Tunnel of Love. That's kinda my favorite Bruce record and I had always wanted to fic something from it.
Since I wanted this not to be too angst I figured that Penny's dad could bother to show up. After all if he accepted her marrying Desmond, he'd have made the bigger step IMHO. Glad you liked the tripping over the dress bit! It looked to me like something that could happen especially in such a situation.
