So the definitive results for administrative elections that were happening in the country this month are in.

B/the PM's party managed to lose in 85% of the places. AND IN HIS HOMETOWN. AND IN THE TOWN HE ACTUALLY RESIDES IN. In his hometown his side had been governing for.. way too much time. And the last time they had two turns (which they didn't win anyway) was in 1991. And in Naples they lost so hard that I had to pinch myself because I was sure I was dreaming.

My face for the last three hours was like this:



I mean. I just. It wasn't even my city but it's such a sign that I can't help the perpetual grinning. And sorry but I've been politically frustrated since I could vote and every-damn-time in which there were elections my side never really managed to win so blatantly. (Heck, there's a reason why B.'s still there.)

I'm just. I know how awesome it feels to feel good because of politics. Brb savoring the sensation and not envying everyone else anymore. If this ends up being the starting point to send B. away for good I'll be a happy person for real. And this after this week he said that if you vote left wing you're brainless. (Seriously.) Well. Get this. *flails some more* *would open up expensive alcohol if she had any*

Okay I'm half-dead and I have the twenty minutes with Misha and 15 other people at 9.30 AM so I'll be brief.

Yesterday I hugged Chad Lindberg three times in two hours. I'd just like to state that I don't know how I survived. Also I have good pictures and I have notes and I'll put everything up on Monday. That said, I HUGGED CHAD LINDBERG THREE TIMES and most of my ops look good and btw Rob Benedict is the most adorable human being ever.

Or, hi world. I've been a totally awful commenter lately and I haven't said anything that wasn't memes or random fic in ages but I've had a moment of 'I read everything and I procrastinate on commenting' and then didn't comment at all. Ugh. I just hope it's over. If you get a backslash of comments on old entries from me, don't mind me.

But, heck, at least I have news! Sorta.

1. First thing: happy late birthday lenina20 ! Sorry for the lateness but I hope you had the amazing day you deserve and that next year is nothing short of awesome for you. Possibly free of most university crap. ♥ ♥ ♥

2. Theen, I sadly go back to school next week. The break was good while it lasted. It'd help if my study plan wasn't made of exactly the same things I had to do in the bachelor's degree with the only exception that it's less exams and that I don't even get to choose with whom I can do stuff. *sigh* I want to be enthusiastic but I'm not exactly there. Then again it'll do way good to me to get back to actually doing stuff, so.

3. But, I'm sooo excited because wandersfound is visiting next week! :DDDDD it'll be glorious. I know it will. ♥ I can't wait. :D

4. Other reason why I'm not posting lately: every time I opened the page I tried to do a politics related post and then it became a rant that was going to be understandable just to Italian people, and then I quit it and I never posted. But since I'm aware that shit my PM has said lately has been reported everywhere, let me just state that whatever he says, especially about Lybia, causes indecent amounts of secondhand embarrassment here. Please don't think that everyone agrees with him, even if apparently half of this country still does. Ugh. I won't get started on the fact that he's under trial for underage prostitution related matters and he's still there. When do I go voting, again? *sigh*

5. German class is going decently. Yoga classes are as well. And damn but I'm happy I took it up again.

6. I need to stop starting books without finishing them. I realized I have currently like six novels that I started reading. One is almost finished but the rest are all at various points and ugh I really should read one book at a time. Anyway maybe in a short while I'll have a book recs post because some of that stuff I started is lovely indeed. also I generally need to stop procrastinating, but procrastination gets worse the more free time I have. Wanna bet that as soon as I'm back to school I'll be finishing novels and all the fic I'm not finishing?

7. On that, next month my target is finishing everything I have left undone that I think I can have half a chance to finish. Let's see if I manage it, uh? Especially because I realized I have an indecent number of unedited/not posted fic and I'm just procrastinating on posting it. Sloth is seriously my favorite deadly sin.. anyway let's see how good it goes and if I manage to stick to it.

8. Uhm, I have no more exciting news except that I finally got a new camera which was pretty much the only thing I wanted for a graduation present and it's the prettiest thing ever and it's half-professional and I can't possibly learn to use it in a short while. But if I manage to get the basic I'll so take the prettiest con pictures ever. And since long entry is long I'll probably stop here and see if I can go get some of that reading done. *waves*

9. No, wait, I was forgetting. I haven't managed to write anything for this because I spent the last two days in a mad cleaning frenzy in order to make my room presentable (and it really did take me two days -- lately everything is all over the place and I definitely need new bookshelves), but this is awesome and I have some prompts eyed and ozmissage is awesome for hosting it. And since there's way too little Boone someone go prompt some Boone for me so I can write something tomorrow, y/y? Go!

As of today, I got my bachelor's degree even if I'm still without a piece of paper to show for it.

Brb planning on catching up with Boardwalk Empire during next week. Or better, brb planning on making a list of all the things I want to do this month of the not socially helpful kind.

BUT OMG YES I GRADUATED and I can forget the last three months.

Which also means, wait for a bunch of comments I owed, an exchange fic to be posted and SPN/Vporn late reviews, tho I won't manage to catch up on everyone's reviews as well because I completely skipped them and I'm too lazy to go fishing in the fl.

God I can't believe that I have two and a half free months now. *goes to catch up*

Eee, this is a real post! I'm almost shocked myself.

1. Okay, I'm almost shocked myself, but this last week has been... the busiest since September or so? In order, I: did the extra exam, covered shifts for other people at the library, lost hours in order to hand over the last paper that was lacking from all the graduation forms, lost a bunch of time searching bibliographies for stuff to use in my thesis (which ended up being mostly useless), talked with my supervisor and I still need to start writing said thesis. At least it's just forty pages. *sigh* Moral of the story: I spent the weekend sleeping, mostly, and the only thing I managed to do was post a fic I had a deadline for. *sigh* So if I owe any comments or e-mails I'll see to do it all tonight/tomorrow morning since I have it free.

2. Also happy Halloween to anyone doing it? (I don't, but it's not like anyone I know does it either or like it's a big thing here, so. It sounds... very much like I don't like to have fun, but I just want one evening to catch up. XD)

3. In much better news: Bon Jovi are touring, which is nothing new, BUT THERE'S AN ITALIAN DATE, which is, instead, a miracle. Or at least, they hadn't had one in... ten years. Or so. Which means, I'M ATTENDING A BON JOVI CONCERT. Which probably wouldn't request capslock, but dammit I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR TEN YEARS TO GET ONE not needing to get out of the country.

Clearly it's in a city which is exactly near to the border both with Austria and Slovenia which means I'll need to spend ten hours on a train or two, BUT WHO CARES.

4. In as good news: I had bought a ticket to go see The Promise at the Rome film festival tomorrow. It also was the last ticket. Then Friday they announced that Bruce Springsteen was attending THAT screening.

Meaning: TOMORROW I'M SEEING BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN. And I paid exactly 6.50 euros for it. I've been gleeing non-stop since I heard it. \o/ Also before The Promise I'm seeing in the same hall a movie named The People Vs. George Lucas, which is apparently made of interviews to Star Wars fans who hated the prequels. I'm strangely excited for it, or at least I'm excited because I want to have some fun.

5. I also signed up for mini_nanowrimo, with the intent of using it for both my thesis and the bunch of fics I need to finish. Except that I had forgotten that I'll be out of town for two days and idk how I'm going to report to them. I need to check the rules again.

6. Also since I am done with bureaucracy, I should also catch up on both Hawaii 5-0 and Boardwalk Empire. This last one will kill me, since I haven't seen anything beyond episode two and it's one hour long, but damn I loved it so much, I don't want to wait for the season to be over to catch up.

7. Also I'm attempting to read some goddamn fiction again because I've been reading just school stuff for one month, so expect some book recs post in a week or so. But for now I can totally say that Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake is probably the best thing not written by Kafka which I read this year. I'm still gushing over how good it was. I'll probably rant about it more extensively in the future.

8. My PM becomes worse with every passing day. Except that this time there's a girl named Ruby (okay, it's not her real name, but still) involved in the whole mess and every time I hear 'the Ruby affair' on the TV or on newspapers I have laughing fits instead of feeling depressed. I'm at the point when I think it's actually a good thing. :/

9. Uhm, that's probably everything, Rl-wise. I'll probably post again soon-ish with Bruce pictures if I manage to take some. :D and now I'll be off catching up with things, which I'll do also tomorrow morning. How glad I am that November 1st is national vacation here. Let's see if I can manage to be caught up before the 2nd.

Okay, this ranted, _izu_ is getting here in the morning and I need to be up at a decent hour and to do stuff because THE CON IS IN THREE DAYS DAMMIT and so I'll go to sleep and wait for my elections suck ass rant next week, because I'll totally post about the con first. The fact that right this moment the con is first in my priorities should say enough, but the outcome sucked so much that if I think too much about it before I chill wouldn't be good. *sigh*

So. This morning I come home and since I knew that this week's Heroes was where the dreadful thing happened I figured I'd download it and watch it before trying to finish the crossover fic. Which I really should do.

Then, ten minutes in, someone from the uni's library calls and seems like some people renounced and I GOT THE JOB! *raises fist* When she was like 'would you accept that?' I was like 'ARE YOU KIDDING OF COURSE I DO' and just, YES. I'M MAKING SOME MONEY, DAMMIT.

Then I actually did start to try and pay attention to the darned thing. Er. I'm pretty sure that missy_useless has seen it or is going to. Uh, I need my pieces picked up. You too? *sigh* Or anyone else?

Okay. I have stuff to edit and a fic to finish today (which is mandatory given my deadlines) so uh, I'll be off doing that. And going out around the house thinking that I have a job. *raises fist again*

1. I finished the scifibigbang #1. Yes. Two weeks later than the deadline, but I finished it. Argh. Now I need to finish #2 in like three days maximum but in this one I needed to figure plot out, in that one I don't. Which means it'll take a lot less. And my record was 10000 words in one day which means I'll try to re-do it. And then I can go doing my Christmas exchange fics (and thankfully two are already planned in my head) and then I can go and start doing things in time. Yes. That wouldn't be a bad idea.

2. Apparently, my master fic list doesn't fit into one post anymore. If I was able to do summaries without quoting from the actual fics then I wouldn't have the problem, but is seems like I'm not able. So sometime in the next week I'll probably split it in two and keep part I for Lost and part II for everything else, so if a random half of master fic list pops up on your fl next week just ignore it. ;)

3. I went to see The Men Who Stare At Goats and it's AWESOME. George Clooney + Ewan McGregor + pacifism + crack on a stick which actually is serious + goats + Boston = awesomeness. Now I need to go catch Public Enemies, Up and The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Sometime in the next two weeks I guess. Maybe when I finish the bigbang #2.

4. There will be a card post coming soon-ish. Either tonight or tomorrow.

5. I'm not going to throw another ton of Misha Collins fangirling on everyone again, but after the latest con I can only say two things. One, that he's so awesome that I can't even fathom. Two, that I want April to be tomorrow. Oh, and I need to add, this morning I spent twenty minutes or so staring at this. I'm sadly not lying. Misha, why, why so awesome? (and fine looking, I need to add?)

6. Aand, BOOK RECS! I have some stuff I've been reading in the last month and a half or so, but I wanted to finish a couple so I ended up doing the post just now.

( Stephen King, Steve Earle, Neil Gaiman (again), Cheeta's autobiography, Michael Chabon (again) and maybe something else. Mostly short stories books. )

7. Also, I'm the only person who forgets when she DOESN'T have classes. Last Thursday I was sure I had one and I waited two hours after I finished the first before realizing that the professor said he was not going to be there this week. I mean. Not that I lost time or anything but... *sigh* though, next week I'll just have the pedagogy class one day and NOT ON FRIDAY! YAY! I'll manage to see the SPN ep in peace for once.

8. Okay, off answering comments and stuff I owe. Maybe after I'll re-post some ficlets, but I need to see if I'll still be awake. *waves*
