This is lovely dear, like the song is lovely. I have mixed feelings about the song -- you know it's the best song ever to write about love triangles, right? Or so my Biblical Characters teacher would say. It's a ruthless love song because the story it tells was never about love, just as the story between Juliet and Sawyer is not about them, falling in love with each other - but about them being together while loving someone else and still, well, it draws an hallelujah - and that paradox is beautifully reflected in Sawyer's inner struggle here.
Lovely work, really. And lovely string of House songs - hallelujah, you can't always get what you want... oooh, the good old days. Great fic! :D
