Hi! I was doing the lostsquee feedback challenge, and the prompt was to fb a fic in a comm where you've never left feedback before. I only just discovered the lostblondes comm, and I'm only newly into het (Sawyer/Juliet did it for me!), so I'm dipping my toes in the waters by sampling fic and I'm so glad that I started with this one! You based it on one of my favorite songs, a song that lends itself perfectly to Sawyer fics because of its dark, angsty tone undercut with such a broken hopefulness -- that just says "Sawyer" to me.
Things I loved: -- Juliet playing the piano badly. I love Juliet because she's flawed, and she doesn't mind it if people see her flaws. That makes her endearing.
-- Juliet cutting Sawyer's hair. I have a hair fetish, what can I say? ;)
-- the last paragraph, and the last sentence, especially. It's the perfect ending.
Again, I'm thrilled that I found the lostblondes comm and this fic! I missed it during the luau and then I went and wrote a luau fic based on the same song (oops!), but I think the song is versatile enough to go around. You did an amazing job with it!
