Half the time I think that that the Losties would be too tired, wired, afraid, or just plain busy surviving for these types of encounters. The other half of the time, I think that is all the more reason to want to feel something and I imagine everyone grabbing the nearest person and shoving them against a tree

I think I've read it just three or four times, guess it's not a very popular one (99% due to what happened in Confidence Man and it's understandable), but for me it had kind of worked and seemed alright for something without too much reasoning behind.
