I guess this turned into my 'I'm angry with the island, Lost loose ends and Locke' thing that was probably wound to happen sooner or later, but giving him some of his medicine wasn't that bad of an experience. Though next time I'll be back on ignoring canon as usual because not doing it has sort of depressing results ;)
Jacob does indeed triumph Ben! I want to think that Ben learned from him though. I so don't trust one that chooses Christian Shephard for his P.A.
