Oh, I want to squish the pair of them, too. Usually ;) And I'm glad the dynamic made sense, I just can't see Charlie as someone being uber-confident about the whole backstage sex business while I always thought that Boone is confident in that sense. And that he manages to be in control even if he doesn't like topping (in my canon of course) ;)
You know what, I think I need to write some sequel to this thing where he does go solo. Because yeah, they would have been good for each other in that sense and you're totally right on Boone needing someone to look after. And also because they did draw the Oasis parallel writing the show, but since I think that Noel Gallagher would be WAY better off alone than with his brother I'm not that surprised that it reflects on the Charlie/Liam thing, too. *sigh* that'd have really been the best options.
