I've watched DEM only once - a long, long time ago. I had no idea about Theresa or the parallels between Locke and Cooper (Which I'm sorry, it's not his dad - because it doesn't fit!!!!!!! He is just a con man who conned him. I know, I know. Denial!!!!) and I really loved reading about them. It's very sad - what you said about Boone's potential as a character and his selflessness. I totally subscribe it. I love how you wrote this - how you gave wonderful insight into the story, Locke (who is so complex and difficult to tackle - you did brilliant!) and of course, Boone. This was a wonderful tribute to him and to your favorite episode! I loved it!
On Jack/Sawyer. I agree. I enjoyed their bantering in S1, but I think that having them have that relationship wouldn't be realistic. It's inevitable that they are relationship is estranged and full of ridges. I'm not saying they don't care about each other (which isn't crazy to say, btw, cf. SNBH) - I'm saying they care more for Kate. And it's not like they can eliminate her existence of the baggage they share. How are they not going to resent each other? If you stick to canon - Jack/Sawyer can be fascinating, but hardly amusing or fluffy. Not anymore. And honestly - ping pong? What was that? It's as if Jack suddenly runs into Sawyer's arms next Wednesday. Umm... not really believable.
: Michael and Jin discussing over the raft with Michael taking up Korean swear words is something brilliant.
