I understand Jack is confused, frustrated, angry, etc. etc. etc. Yes. It does not justify the way he treats Kate, neither in I Do, nor in Left Behind of The Brig, for instance. And especially not in SNBH. I think my defensive attitude has to do with the fact that according to everyone and their monther's opinion, Kate is a slut, or a cheater, or needs to make up her mind. I hate this kind of position that victimizes Sawyer and Jack as if they had known from MINUTE ONE what they were signing up for. The difference is that if Sawyer calls her on it - quite resigned even if frustrated (Eggshit), she slaps him and leaves the room. If Jack starts screaming at her the way he does, she cries and cries and cries and cries and tells him how sorry she is. Which makes me very uncorfortable.
But I see your point and I agree. it's much more a deal of Kate/Jack than of Jack/Sawyer. You're right. I still think you can't take Kate of Jack/Sawyer -. but I definitely see your point ;)
