And hereby I realized that pairing Desmond with women that aren't Penny or Juliet in a threesome is way harder than pairing him with men. If this isn't the weirdest thing I ever wrote, I don't know what it is. I'd have betaed it because I'm totally not sure of it, but it's for the only person I know who would beta this pairing so.. ;)
Title: Calypso
Rating: light R
Pairing: sort of Desmond/Claire, implied Charlie/Claire and Des/Penny
Word Count: 2190
Disclaimer: definitely not mine.
Summary: Every Odysseus has a Penelope and a Calypso, even if the story isn't always the same one.
Spoilers: Up to the S4 finale.

lenina20 because I promised her some Des/Claire ages ago ♥. Now, the pairing is not my usual cup of tea and the way I wrote this fic is absolutely not my usual one. It's not even actual Desmond/Claire but it came last night like that, I don't know whether it sucks or whether it doesn't, but it's as close as I can get to that pairing. The title was actually stolen from Suzanne Vega since it was what gave me the idea in the first place. I tried to be strict with mythological references which means that I've only told the basic points of the plot I needed, but if I fell into some obscure reference sorry for that.
( Because yes, Odysseus ends up sharing Calypso’s bed, if we want to be metaphorical. Then there are the real details, like for example that there isn’t a bed to share but just quick encounters in the jungle, mainly during the night, or that she doesn’t love him, or that he doesn’t love her. )
