These are great! I've always wanted to read a story like the Sayid one, where he and Desmond are besties and he moves in with Des and Penny and Penny sort of makes him feel better, so this story made me squee uncontrollably. I loved the way you wrote Penny here---what I like about her on the show is how real she is, a sweet lady who can get frustrated and be annoyed sometimes. She's great, but she isn't perfect, and I loved that she was having trouble with something. And the idea that Sayid could help her with this sort of domestic thing and still remain Sayid (who is honestly the least domestic character on any show, I think) was beautiful. I love how normal she is, and how he feels like he doesn't fit into that kind of normalcy.
And the Michael one was heartbreaking. Michael is heartbreaking as a general rule.
