When Dean got shot, I was all Nooooo and I knew it would trigger bad memories from the past, but Castiel being such an unwavering presence in his life, taking care of him, listening to him and NOT judging him was exactly what he needed, and he got it <333 And then he returning the favour to Castiel by listening to him on his issues with his sucky family - I really loveee that image of them sitting quietly and watching the bonfires.
And the dream Dean has at the end, and how he starts to notice the little things that are Castiel. Lovely touch. I can really feel the development between them, and they are each other's support system, and that is very touching.
