Okay. I swear that if this is how everything ended I'd be freaking glad to see it. Seriously. I had sort of got where it was leading at the beginning but WOW you totally nailed it. Wow. I love Desmond and Sayid being the next Jacob & used-to-be-Silas and the way the circle closes and goes back to the beginning, WOW? Seriously, wow? I totally loved that Desmond was using his own story and that he'd take Sayid's memories to try to change things because I guess he knew they'd end back at the same place, right? And don't say it wasn't romantic because the first part totally was. In not exactly your regular sense but awww, I was kind of melting there even if I knew I totally shouldn't have.
And duh, how Sayid gained his memory back, THAT was a totally great scene. At the last thing he remembered it totally gave me the chills. And just, wow, that ending is a punch to the gut but it's so perfect and damn, now I want this to happen in canon. Wow. Just, wow. I absolutely and utterly loved this, thank you so much!! (And I reiterate, this is perfectly awesome amnesia. It IS. ;) ) <333333333333333333
