Meyer's books are just a way of her pushing the Mormon faith disgused as cheap fiction used to entertain teenagers who don't have the ability to distinguish fantasy from reality yet,and housewives who desire believing in something that is so amazing and contrived that it might make they're days go faster.
But,lots of reallly awesome people read it too,so maybe that only applies to half her fandom.
But I don't agree with them being vampires,they're more like blooddrinkers who glitter.
