I was saying to ozmissage the other day that Lost could very well have ended with S4. (They would have got off the Island, even, some of them.) Although that would have meant no proper S/J or Jacob/Richard or the wonderful thing that is alt!Miles & Sawyer, as well as less Richard, it would have been the better option in some ways.
