Pairing/Characters: Dean/Castiel; Sam, Bobby
Rating: NC17
Warnings: deaf/scarred!Dean, angst galore in the beginning.
Spoilers: set post-apocalypse; general spoilers for S5, but nothing extremely specific after 5x04.
Word Count: 22000
Summary: After the end of the world I just wanted to rest and chill out, not to re-build my life from scratch around the fact that I can’t hear shit and that I look like the fucking phantom of the Opera.

shanaqui for the deancastiel Secret Angels exchange; the prompts were Dean suffers from some kind of permanent scar/injury. (Blindness, loss of a limb, facial scarring, whatever you like.) Castiel doesn't understand Dean's reaction very well: he still finds Dean attractive and always will; domestic stuff, preferably happy. Dean and Castiel live together. Summary: In which there's a road trip, Dean realizes a lot of things, Sam gets it before him and Castiel (while being a BAMF in more ways than one) has a thing for Bob Dylan.
A/N written fora_carnal_mink for the deancastiel Secret Angels exchange; the prompts were the roadtrip from Greeley, PA to Waterville, Maine in 5x03, Dean and Cas patching each other up after a big smackdown and it turning into something more; post 5x04 - Dean telling Cas about everything he saw in the future; getting it on in the Impala. Much thanks to wandersfound for betaing this awesomely. <333 The sections' titles are all stolen from the Bob Dylan song the regular title was stolen from, too.
