Oooh do it! It's a great city and I had an amazing time there, though there are some techcnical difficulties, mostly that since from what I gathered most people go there with a tour they have the guide who does all the talking, so people don't exactly speak much English and if you go on your own (aka me + parents) it might be a trifle difficult, but apart from that and drivers that are possibly worse than Italian ones it's 100% worth it. Especially going to the Ermitage was fantastic but I loved the entire thing. (Uhm, if you wanna see pics I think I have a St. Petersburg tag, I did that post like four years ago but it should still be there.)
