I KNOW?! I mean come on people use the same measuring for everyone. And I wasn't with Sam haters in S4 - I got what he was trying to do. And I never went like 'oh well he's a dick I'm done' and I can't see what was worse in what Cas did, intentions speaking. Also because tbqh Dean nagged on Sam to stop doing shit with Ruby for half of the season, NO ONE nagged at Cas until the end when they were all like WTF DID YOU DO and hey, worst part was CROWLEY. Ugh. (Cas SHOULD have backed off at the end of 6x20 though - Dean did give him the way out, I'll give it to him, but still. COME ON.)
Also THAT. I mean if we get S7!Cas trying to get Dean's approval in any questionable way - I MEAN that's another total level of loving someone. I mean, you become a god because they basically said fuck you and you STILL want them to love you? Oh dammit - *wipes tear* - Cas what do you do to me.
And then around 7x10/7x11 he'd have an epiphany and decided that his best friend is totally worht the effort of SAVING. ♥
YES. Though I'd love it if he felt guilty all along. I mean I'd pretty much die if that happened - oh dear I'm such an angst whore at times.
I KNOW. Plot-wise this can be awesome. I was hoping for Cas to fall tbh because this whole thing just guts me, but oh dear there's such possibility for having a great arc in that, I can't feel like being negative about it. (Also I'd still like to ask how is he exactly DESTROYED - jesus he spoke for one minute and he had just opened Purgatory inside him, nothing suggests that when he gets down from the high he'll stay as psycho as he looked. Unless I read spoilers during the summer which say the contrary but I can't bring myself to assume that he's gone based on one minute against three seasons.) And yeah I guess they did need to spice that up. *is still secretly hoping for a series end where they get Cas out of that ordeal and TFW rides into the sunset on the car but that might be too optimistic I fear*
