I read all of Hard Times, word for word. I don't blame you for stopping at page 20. The rest of the book sucked. I'm hard on myself with books too so that's understandable.
I haven't read anythin by Jane Austen but I already know I'm not a fan of those Victorian/18-19th century romance novels.
