Yeah, now in retrospect, she's always been that way, but back then I was naive and thought they cared enough about her to make her a character with a spine and allow her to grow up. Unfortunately, they're just using her for the bikini shots and licking Sawyer's chest now and all the sophomoric middle school crap.
Because I mean, I remember a lot of people saying 'Jack went completely crazy/ballistic/alcoholic because he can't cope etc
These are the same "people" who spent the whole summer doing a celebratory dance because Matthew Fox was going to be written off the show, that the TTLG flashforward is the very end of the show and Jack ends up like that (because he so richly deserves it, etc), the same people who last year were all about how evil he is for leaving the island alone and after the I Do preview were frothing at the mouth that he was going to let Sawyer die and cut a deal for himself, etc. These "people" are always wrong. Because they simply can't think straight when it comes to Jack. He's their Daddy and they have a lot of Daddy hate. Most of all though they want to fuck him really, really badly, but unlike us, they won't admit it. And they're Losers with a capital L.
The burgundy shirt. *dies* I LOVED that shirt. It suited him like nothing else.
Surgeon by day, Armani model by night. Dr.Jack's flashback wardrobe leaves me breathless and whimpering.
