janie_tangerinehello! Seems like you're stuck with yours truly - first thing, thanks in advance for whatever you'll write! I totally am excited to see whatever you may come up with, and I'm beyond excited for Stephen King related fic!!!
Before going into specifics, free to take either on my tumblr (janiedean) - as it's where I'm most active these days - I'm going to give you a general run-down and then I'll go into the specific fandoms - but as stated, except for the few things I don't want in the general part just go with whatever you want, you don't have to pick anything that doesn't inspire you.
So, here we go!
what I like
I'm pretty easy to please really. Whichever rating you feel comfortable with is good - I won't say no to NC17, but if you want to keep it gen/pg/else it's all good. Angst or humor, either is good (crack is absolutely acceptable). My favorite tropes are amnesia fics, AUs (either changing the setting completely or just changing stuff from canon is gold), apocalypse fic/dystopias, plus you totally can never go wrong with some nice old h/c; I'd like it better if no one died/if it didn't end horribly but I'll trust your judgment ;) If you feel like upping the ratings I'm 100% down with nfsw content, my bulletproof kinks are consensual d/s and cross dressing (and in het I like it a lot when the girl tops but I don't think I've asked much of it for this exchange so never mind in case), but you really don't have to go into it if you want to keep it safe for work. Also please feel free to keep things gen when I'm not requesting shipping openly ;). I tend to die in squee if there are music/movie/pop culture references of whichever nature. Oh, I also have a western fetish.
what I don't like
There's not much that I don't like, but: please no non-con actually happening in the fic (if it's past trauma or something like that it's good, but please no happening in real time). Mpreg and everything of the kind. Character A/B/C/whatever turning into werewolves/werewolves AUs and please no alpha/beta/omega. As stated I could do without people dying but it's less of a deal-breaker than the rest.
Fandoms
Dark Tower (Eddie Dean/Roland Deschain, Cuthbert Allgood/Alain Johns)
First: if we matched on DT, let me just tell you that you're already awesomecakes in my book since I never find anyone who likes it anywhere ops IT'S MY CRUX.
That stated, it boils down to two things for this request.
One: Roland/Eddie is my otp of otps, platonic or slashy or just bromance or in any shape and form. If you want to include any other character from the series it's absolutely cool - don't feel like it has to be just the two of them. But as long as it's centered on those two? I'm over the moon. I read everything and I read all my King like a good constant reader, so if you want to include references from any DT related book I'm totally game. Knowing that saying 'anything' will probably make you want to kill me, I could totally work with stuff set in the book II shuffle before Susannah is drawn/during Song of Susannah-early DT VII. (If you want to change canon facts totally feel free to do it. I'm not exactly a fan of the ending so if you get some idea that implies changing it I'll totally be okay with it.) Or hey, maybe the both of them having -moments- where they secretly understand each other throughout whatever piece of canon/between canon moments that you'd like. Or Eddie explaining Roland how pop culture works. The only thing I'd rather avoid is the first epilogue in VII (not exactly a fan of the ending, as stated). Everything else is fair game. AUs of any kind are also absolutely welcome - I mean, you want to do a proper western AU or a WWII one or the zombie apocalypse? I'm totally happy and thankee sai :D
Two: while I do love myself some pre-series interaction, there's not much Alain-centered stuff and there's even less of Alain/Cuthbert interaction and as it's kinda my second-favorite slash ship in those books I'd totally love anything with the two of them? Pre-series, AU, Wizard and Glass outtakes, it doesn't even have to be shippy as long as it's centered on the two of them? Because I'd totally love that. I could also do with something centered on the two of them but still pre-series and with everyone else from Roland's old crew - a bit like The Wind through the Keyhole was also a story set in Gilead. I'll take anything really. :)
For this fandom I'm honestly open to anything and if you want to disregard the ending or go full AU or whatever I'm game. Only thing: please no movie canon. I refused to watch the movie and I don't care for it whatsoever. /o\ thank you!!
The Stand (Nick & Tom, Tom & Stu, Larry Underwood)
OH HELLO this is going to be easier most likely, but tldr: Larry is my Favorite Character From This Book which also happens to be my favorite standalone King novel AND I'll read anything concerning the guy in most ships as long as it's consensual stuff. Pre-series? Alternate ending where he gets some hard-earned happiness? Canon divergence? Canon compliant where you explore whatever's part of his storyline you'd like? I'M GOOD. Honestly I am.Bonus points if we remember that Stephen King wanted Bruce Springsteen to play him ;)
Alternatively: Nick and Tom's friendship KILLS ME EVERY DAMNED TIME and the part where Stu and Tom go back home at the ending KILLS ME ALMOST AS MUCH and like... guys, anything concerning either pair (or maybe all three of them could have a nice friendly moment either pre-shit hits the fan or in an alternate canon where poor Nick doesn't die?) will make me over the moon happy. Honestly guys I'm 100% happy to see anything with those three interacting either in pairs or all together.
The Body (Chris Chambers/Gordie LaChance)
OKAY SO, The Body happens to be my fave King short story ever never mind what kickstarted my love for the guy when I was fourteen aaaand.... I'm an easy person with easy tastes and the one thing I've wanted to see since reading it was these two either getting together or even better HAVING AN ENDING WHERE POOR CHRIS MEETS A BETTER FATE AND GETS TO FULFILL HIS DREAMS and they get to see each other succeed in life, which I know is 100% against the point of that story but hey it's fanfic for a reason. I could also 100% absolutely get behind h/c during their teenage years or whenever you see fit to place it. Really just give me these two getting nice things and I'm game.
Also, I asked book canon for this to avoid overlapping but if you want to use movie canon/Stand By Me for them it's 100% fine. :)

RIGHT SO: this request was mainly for the book because I haven't finished seeing the TV show yet but if it had the same ending you can use the show it's not a problem, but tldr: I thought it was the best damned ending King put out in years and IT WRECKED ME ON EVERY POSSIBLE LEVEL (you might guess why from my liked tropes section ops, amnesia fic and all) and I still don't know if I loved everything about it or if it wanted to make me cry but I loved these two and their relationship so.... anything concerning it? What happens post-finale? Why does she have the deja vu when technically she never met him? She remembers things when she's younger but she thinks she's making them up? Really i'm down with any route you might go with here. Including breaking my heart tenfold xD
All of this stated, really, feel free to go with gen or friendshippy for the stuff where I didn't state explicit preferences if it floats your boat better. And if you read some of the tropes I like and thought 'hey, it's be awesome if character X from fandom Y ended up with amnesia during a nuclear apocalypse!'/something like that don't feel like you have to go with the guidelines I gave in the specific fandoms, also because any crossover with any of these would be welcome and King makes that easy so whatever you want really ;) I'll totally be happy with whatever you'll come up with.
