Well, usually he just goes around randomly and finds trouble, lol. Of course there are plot twists and all that, but in normal episodes he just ends up somewhere and saves the world. As simple as that. :P
Well, he can die if he doesn't regenerate. And it's mainly meant for the whole family to watch, so there aren't that many character deaths when it comes to the main cast. But otherwise, RTD can go a bit nuts when it comes to killing people. Because everything has to be ~*~epic~*~. And Torchwood is worth checking out, if you can stand the bad and cracktastic writing and acting. Okay, in both DW and TW. But they're both awesome and very addicting when you finally get into them. Although they're very different from each other, obviously.
