1. So, I did most of the editing for my Hohoho assignment. I cut stuff I wasn't convinced of, the sea of empty brackets I left when I was missing some specific words is almost gone, when re-reading it holds up better than I thought while writing it and I probably need to give a certain part a bit more of editing but it's mostly done. What's the problem? It's 17500 words. I don't have an idea of how I should even post it, especially since I won't be around for Christmas and I still don't know if I will for New Year's. Should I split it in three and post one before I go on Tuesday, one when I'm back and one after New Year's? Should I split in two and post one now and one when I'm back for the first time? Should I just go and post it all at once? *ouch, head hurts*

2. I'm sending my cards out on Monday. And meanwhile, thanks to reckess, ladymacbeth77 (it was lovely! And since Samy has Dean mine is Sam ;) ), gottalovev (what a lovely card!), onlyechoes and zelda_zee for the awesome Mexico postcard! Why, yeah, today my postal service decided to be generous.

3. I realized that this year my Christmas shopping was kind of nonexistent. I still have some to do though, even if not much. Oh well, stress saved I guess.

4. This morning I was in some store doing some Christmas shopping with my mother and had the wonderful idea of falling down five steps of stairs. Ouch. My head hurt for one hour, but thankfully it wasn't nothing serious. ETA: see my moodtheme? That was exactly my face this morning, except that Jack wasn't patching me up.

5. I still haven't watched Pushing Daisies. I probably will tonight since if anything else which should better not happen happens today I'll close it on some good note.

6. Regarding Christmas stuff, I need to have links! I probably should have done it before but I'm better at doing it all at once.

a) falafel_musings made me a lovely His Prettiness stocking here! Mm, lots of nice and pretty things in there, including the only video that will ever make me listen to Whitney Huston for four minutes.

b) zelda_zee made me and halfdutch extremely happy with the hottest Jack/Boone as pirates ficlet which I've probably read a bunch of times and will be happy to re-read as soon as I post.

c) isis2015 wrote me the loveliest Boone/Claire drabble which is just so IC and well done.

7. Between tonight and tomorrow I'm taking care of everything else that was at my Christmas post which I haven't taken care until now. Or I'll try at least.

8. Should be all for now? Now I guess I'll go to finish said Christmas shopping. And probably study something of that whole pack of photocopies I was talking about earlier.

I'm very nearly done with my HoHoHo - just needs a slight bit of tweaking and a good concluding paragraph but other than that it just needs to go from draft form to the postable version and I'm done!

Also ended up slightly longer than I'd thought but not as long as yours - I'm aiming to be ready to post on Christmas Eve afternoon (UK time) as over the break I'll be with family where I only have access to a dial up connnection which is frequently tied up by family on the phone!

Don't really know what to suggest re posting! Sorry.

Good to hear! I need to write this paragraph I just felt too lazy to do, revisiting teh sex seeing if I can improve it and then maybe another polishing up a bit and I'm done. Even though I'm totally nervous about actually posting the thing but I'll have to get over it.

Good luck on posting yours! God, I swear I hadn't planned for it to get that far. I knew it was going to be long but not that long! Now after Nanowrimo and this I kind of feel burned out but I'll overcome it. ;) and thanks anyway, I'll decide tomorrow.

Whoever gets your hohoho assignment will be getting a Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's and Groundhog Day present all in one! I can't quite figure out how many pages that it us, but if LJ can take it I bet your recipient would like it all at once!

I'm sorry about your fall. I hope you are feeling better. Too bad Jack was not there to help you. Is the fever still hanging around?

LOL, that's true! I hadn't planned on even half of that but then it just grew and grew and now it's 35 pages. LJ wouldn't probably take it but I can split it into two or three posts and having them all out together, which I'm seriously leaning for since I'm already posting a story in chapters and it'd get completely confusing.

As long as I don't touch my head where I fell it's all good. I wish I had had Jack near, too! The fever actually went higher today after staying exactly the same for one month and a half *sigh*. Still, not anything I'd worry about yet.

I say, post three parts the same day. That way, the receiver of your gift has it all available when you're not there but still doesn't have to read it non-stop. Just when she feels like reading or has time or, you know. And wow... that's long!!!! You'll make us all look bad ;););)

No, I'll just look completely crazy and I just hope I didn't get some obvious stuff wrong. ;) ;) it just grew on its own. And to think that a week ago I was at page four because I felt it was going nowhere. Oooh well. Anyway, I think I'll do as you said. Might be long but at least it's there.

Be assured that for some time I'm sticking to drabbles. I won't be able to handle a long story I think. ;)
