Team OMG WE STILL NEED TO GO BACK!!!

1. Well, I missed Hurley and Sun, but I could do with a Kate-less episode. And I'm not missing Jack and Sayid because I just know they spent this episode making out in the infirmary, or so I decided. -nods-

2. NO BEN! AN EPISODE WITHOUT BEN! *sighs* Oh, thanks. I had enough.

3. So, the Others speak Latin?

Oh, the CRACK I'm writing out of this. Why, I studied Latin for five years in high school, I know what I'm doing. Oh God. I was cracking up.

3b. That said, Juliet actually has a surprisingly good accent. Young!Widmore couldn't speak it for the life of his and blondie wasn't too bad at it. Now I want Richard speaking Latin.

3c. Or Juliet and Sawyer can have Latin lessons. Anyway, I totally loved Juliet here.

3d. Or better, next week on Craphole Island: Juliet gives Latin lessons in between flashes.

4. However, Sawyer -> ♥. He didn't have much to do but really, I just love the guy when he's all snarky and teams up with Juliet.

5. Argh, Looocke. Be nicer. *sigh* Even if you're interesting again. Not that you've got me back in your graces. And anyway, Sawyer crashed with you and you've been the Others' leader for about five minutes. PRIORITIES, John. Priorities.

8. RICHARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh God. I'm seriously developing a Richard crush here. I loved his conversation with Locke and the fact that he's level-headed and just, well, he's a good character indeed. Why the hell did he ever let Ben become the leader?

9. I love Miles. Seriously. He's just so great. I want him and Sawyer to have a spinoff.

10. Aw, Daniel. I mean, I like that we found out he isn't as cute-likeable-squishable as he seems but it just makes him more interesting.

11. Poor Charlotte. I guess that being in love with Daniel equals having sex with Sayid, except that at least with Sayid you HAVE SEX.

12. The ending was... aw. Oh Daniel. I seriously hope she survives.

13. The bomb thing was interesting but I don't have an idea how they're playing it out. I sure as hell hope it doesn't have to blow up in the present.

14. Baby birth scenes -> boring. But at least this one was done... meh, half-right. I mean, it was plausible.

14b. Oh, Des, you really can't renounce wearing shirts that show all of your chest? Not that I complain, even if the colors completely clashed with everything else you were wearing. But mm, when he was going around screaming for the doctor it was kinda awesome.

15. I love that the boat is blue and they all wear blue. But Des, red scarf and blue shirt? Seriously?

16. And then they sold me on the baby when they said he was named Charlie. I mean. Finally. Aw, I so hope they don't get screwed up.

17. I loved Penny being righteously pissed off at Des. I love him but well, I can't expect her to stand everything just like that. Well done. And aw, she's coming too! God, please, someone tell me that nothing happens.

18. Also because 'I'm not ever going back?'. Ah, Des, I predict you're wrong.

19. The Oxford part was great and I also like the Widmore meeting, even if I think he gave in too easily. Well, Widmore was and is a dick I guess.

20. I think it's safe to say that Mrs. Hawking -> Dan's mom at this point.

21. Not related, but will someone please explain me WHAT are they going to do with all of these kids? Because apart from Clementine who will have to turn up sometime, we have Walt, Aaron, Ji Yeon and version 2.0!Charlie. Are they bringing them to the island? Are they being left behind? Will we have some island kindergarten then (I surely hope not)? I mean, when you have kids you can't just go and be all 'oh, fine, I'm going back and staying there.'

23. Overall: I really, really liked it. Good episode, kept you interested, had a lot of good moments, I'm liking what they're doing with Desmond even if HI, WHERE THE HECK IS CLAIRE AND WHY DOESN'T ANYONE MENTION HER (not that I care about Claire, it's a matter of principle here) and I seriously, seriously hope Charlotte isn't going. Blah. I mean, she didn't even have sex, this is cheating. *scowls*

But oh, show, you fuck with my head and I'm confused but I still love you so.

The Miles/Sawyer spinoff has potential. Sawyer kills people, then Miles comes along and finds out where the dead guy hid the money.

The big theory about the bomb is that that's what was buried under the hatch. Remember Sayid telling Jack about the concrete? DANIEL TOLD WHATSHERNAME TO USE CONCRETE (or lead).

Penny is going to L.A. I can't tell you that nothing will happen. Benry is there, remember.

I'm seriously wondering what's going on with Claire. I need my Sydney Chip Shop Girl fix.

WORD about the Charlie name. That's exactly it. It doesn't make everything disappear at least for me but it was a touching gesture for how sappy it might have been and at least... well, it shows that he does acknowledge it. Then one might have other issues but for me it was a good start, too. And really, if they named him any other way I'm sure what you said would have happened.

4. re: Sawyer and Juliet. You know how much I love them, right? However, I wish they would stop making them run left and right. They have to think and talk! They had barely time enough to breath, it makes them seem like animals thay you can shove all around the island. And I don't like that, those characters deserve respect!

It's not like I have issues with Claire or anything, but since Charlie died I just lost interest in her to the point that I'm not exactly caring right now. I mean, I want to know where she is on a matter of principle and I want Aaron to be back with her but that's it.

Oh don't worry about that, I can introduce you to a couple of people that feel exactly that way. I don't think that Des/Penny are getting their happy ending until I see it in the last episode of S6 though, if they go to LA and Ben is there I see grim times ahead. Also, all the 'I'm never going back?' is totally foreshadowing that he IS going back. For me, I like it until now. I'm not liking how they dealt with Charlie's death still but at least here they had something.

See, I don't see how anyone could lose interested ih Claire, because she's such an awesome character and I love what Emilie de Ravin brings to her. Plus, since I don't have MY CHARLIE anymore, I was sorta clinging to Claire. lol. But, I do want to know where she is and it's frustrating me that they're not talking about that. And I want Aaron back with her, too. He belongs with her, 'cause it's frustrating how easy it is for Kate to play pretend that he's her and I'm afraid the more she does it, the more he's going to think she truly is and he's going to have a hard time bonding again with Claire when he's back with her - if that ever happens again.

It might be nice to be able to talk to a few other's who actually know how I feel regarding this. Well, they may not be getting their happy ending, but I think what I mean is Desmond is alive and he's with Penny and their son, and MY CHARLIE is dead and he's no longer getting to be with Claire and Aaron, which frustrates me.

Uhm, how do I explain it regarding Claire... I think it might be because I liked her better in S1. After she had the baby it just seemed to me that all her story revolved just around that and what kept me interested was her relationship with Charlie, but then he died and while I might have my issues with Desmond's characterization I have them also with hers, but while I always loved Desmond with her it was enough just to bring me on the I-don't-care side. Of course if she was your favorite character to begin with then it's another thing and you have every single right to be pissed off at it, I'd totally be if she had been. ;) But I definitely want Aaron back with her, too. Kate having the kid just doesn't work and I frankly hate that storyline. And I think it has to happen because Claire surely is back in S6 and anyway was she the one supposed to raise it as per Raised By Another?

Uhm, re others' reactions, I can point you to this post (http://falafel-musings.livejournal.com/23065.html#cutid1) at falafel_musings who has long quit the show but is a great Charlie fan which I think is on your wavelenght actually, along with the answers of course. I didn't answer there because I actually did like the thing, I saw it as at least a beginning in repairing the screwing up they did with Des last season apart from a couple of episodes and it's just not my place to discuss it I think. Also, I tend to cut Desmond a lot of slack because I cut Locke a GREAT lot of slack for two seasons when he basically got Boone killed (and I'm still not over it ;) ) and since I always liked Des better than Locke I can't bring myself if for three episodes he's happy, y'know. ;) I don't think it's gonna last much though. *sigh*

I was wondering about the children too. I sure don't watch Lost:The Next Generation, but I can't imagine them leaving them behind. Unless S6 is all about various characters going "WAAAAAALT!" or any other variation while their kid is being threatened.

I agree, the spinoff could work, as a comedy type thing. I also agree we need more Sayid, and how cute was he in a coma? Desmond- I really loved him in this ep, and the baby and Penny, and trying to play hero again, but why did he look so old? Locke-I am starting to like Locke again, but not saving Daniel? Oh Locke, you are selfish, but your mad skills make you awesome. Daniel-Oh Dan! Hes like so akward and sweet, and I bet he has never even had sex, and he confesses his Love for Charlotte, and she kinda tells him not too, but he tells her to her face and then he has to leave. I was so afarid they they were gonna kill him, but he is alive, thanks in part to Sawyer. That Miltary chick is crazy. Ok, when Dan comes back and he runs over to Charlotte and is cutting her ropes free, and touching her and asking her if she is ok, and she is touching him back, and grinning, well it was sweet in an innocent akward geeky way. Then Miles has to try and ruin the momunment and he was so funny, even if he did steal Dan's thunder. Ok, so then I am sure they were gonna kiss, and Charlotte pushed dan away, I guess she know what was happening? You don't wanna bleed all over the hot phyisit you are kissing, for the first time! Then when she falls, and the look on Dan's face is so heartbreaking, I started to cry. Awwww, when he was holding her and crying, and whispering to her, well not a bad way to die, but I love her. I love him. They are the best couple behind Sawyer/Kate, Des/Penny, and Pb and J. If she dies, and it looks like she may but not for a few eps at least, then I think maybe this will cause Dan to go darkside. I hope they have sex first at least/ : ) I also hope she gets a good death scene and we get plenty of Dan angst, and some comfort from Sayer. Ok, everyone can tell I am a HUGE Dan/Charlotte fan, so there you have it. Can't wait for next weeks.
