seriousy random post + small leave of absence

1. *waves* Hi! Sorry for being disgustingly MIA this last week but I barely found a minute to sit down.

2. lasamy and pnr left respectively yesterday and today. ;_; it has been awesome! ♥

3. Okay, I think I'm caught up with almost all the comments I owed on this journal. I'll be finished with comments I owe in a short while, I hope. And maybe I'll manage to read some stuff for desperate luau catching up.

4. So, my mom's friends which lent us the house last year invited her for the weekend and I'm tagging along. Mostly because it's cool and it has a pool, after walking around all this city for nine days I'm dead tired and I can use three days off. Which means that I won't have an Internet connection in 99% of the possibilities, but maybe it'll actually be better because I'll just bring my laptop along with the luau requests I missed and instead of procrastinating I'll sit down and write.

5. Comma to point #4: I'm also counting on the three internet-less days to finish my Dean/Cas Secret Angels exchange fic (which right now stands at... uh, I dunno but definitely less than two pages) or at least to get most of it done. But since I wouldn't want to send it over without a beta reading first (also because if I get one characterization wrong then it won't stand on its feet), is there anyone who could give that a look towards, uhm, the mid of next week (I hope around Wednesday)? It'd be probably NC17 rated (or hard R, but my idea would be NC17) and.. er, I think it should end up being around 7500 words or so, but knowing yours truly there's a good chance it could get longer. And I need to have it sent before August 8th, even if I'd rather like to send it at least four-five days before. I don't think I'll end up having anything that should require warnings or disturbing stuff, but staying general, it'd be amnesia fic. Thanks in advance if anyone could do it. ;) ♥

7. Best news of the week: IAN SOMERHALDER IS ON TWITTER. He's verified too. Apart from his profile description being priceless, if it turns out that he's the kind answering to twitters I'll probably die of flail. (Well, I was completely flailing while twittering him at all but still.) And I'm actually seriously excited for the vampire thing which is actually getting good recs. Which is scary.

8. Vampire thing speaking, this promo will be the death of me. Putting it on my desktop was NOT a smart idea. Doesn't mean I'm changing it anytime soon.

9. Thanks to pnr I've seen the Firefly pilot and I really liked it. Which means, I'll be downloading it. After all, it's fourteen episodes. Despite my serious fail at catching up with stuff, it can't be that hard.

10. Okay, I think I'm forgetting stuff but I have to go packing and then finish to read the tabs I had open, leave some comments I owe and finishing catching up with the ones I owe on this journal, so bye for now! *waves* And don't post too much while I'm gone. ;)
