Okay, I got home, everything feels more awesome already and I'm apparently not getting sick again *crosses fingers* but, I'm going out of town with friends for New Year's tomorrow and I'll probably be without Internet, so I'll be MIA until the 3rd. Which is when massive catching up will happen, not to mention belated thanks for Christmas cards which I delayed until now hoping I'd manage to do everything at once and couldn't. Also some seven of you will get VERY late cards but they will happen. Hopefully. That said, I hope everyone has a lovely New Year's! Okay, this should be a lot more long and detailed but since I need to leave for the grandmother's place in Sicily tomorrow and I still haven't finished re-packing I'm afraid that the whole experience recap with pictures will have to wait until I can actually stand in front of a screen for two hours and write everything. Which isn't going to happen now, I'm afraid. Anyway, apart from Ryanair being the worst company someone could fly with (both flights ran late, and since the second one was at 6 AM and I hadn't slept at all since waking up at 8.30 the day before you'll imagine how happy I was about that.. XD), it was just so great! Edinburgh is such a beautiful city, and the company was uttermost awesome. ;) ♥ Really, why can't we all live in fangirland? Anyway, wait for a bunch of Jacob stuff to appear on your FL shortly. Of actually scary proportions, I might add, but whatever. ;)

Okay, now, I should be packing. And posting my castielfest fic #1 before I leave tomorrow so I'm cool with that and I can post the second whenever. And try to understand why in the netbook I apparently got for my birthday it won't accept the code for using Word. (PS: Windows 7 Starter is crap. Just because it made me lose one hour which I could have used for more important purposes. And it doesn't let you change your desktop unless you cheat, but I cheated.)

So, that's it for now, I'll try to go gain back my regular sleeping pattern, I'll see you all tomorrow evening when I hack the internet from my other grandparents' which I'll stay at for one day before getting stuck with internet points until mid-month. *waves* If I end up posting random fic it'll mean I managed to finish all on time tomorrow morning.

1. So, tomorrow I'll be heading to the grandparents' for the holidays. And this year we're going a day later than usual and leaving one earlier, so you probably will be spared me complaining because whenever I'm there for more than one day while I do love my family they make me go crazy and either I bitch or I want to headdesk. Though it's ALL my dad's side which is better than when it's not everyone. Just hope that my cousins grew out of the singing Christmas songs off-key attitude, even if I'm not too sure. ;) Anyway there's the internet there so I'll be around.

2. I sent the cards out! Sorry for doing it so late *sigh* anyway, I don't think I missed anyone, some of you who didn't ask for drabbles got some surprise ones and I just hope they arrive at least before the 31st. And cards speaking, thanks so much to mozartfan1313, polvodestrella, haldoor, jaydblu, gottalovev, onlyechoes and pnr! I think I'm not forgetting anyone out of the ones which arrived until now (if I did I'll rectify when I thank the next bunch *wink*) and I ♥ you all. <333 The cards were all so pretty and I ♥ you.

2b. Uh, thanks also to my anonymous stalker...? In the sense, in additions to the ones in point 2 I got this card from Finland without a return address, with a Boone picture attached to the back and signed, literally, creepy stalker. Uh. Well, I figure that if this person has my address then he/she is on my FL but atm I can't figure out who you are so, er, thank you so much? ;) Also the picture was very appreciated. Indeeed.

3. Also, on the 26th I might post a bunch of late birthday fic/Christmas stuff I got from lists/etc. Or maybe on the 25th if I manage but I doubt it.

4. OT: my exam list for the semester is as it follows. Major Hegel exam that implies a lot of studying that I didn't exactly do until this point - Jan. 11th. Not-too-hard exam about some ancient Greek stuff which is fairly easy but requires some studying too - Jan. 15th. Medieval Philosophy exam from hell - Jan. 29th. Dreaded History of Pedagogy exam (which well, after all SHOULD be easy, but I need to prepare a Powerpoint presentation for it and one of the three books I need to read makes me want to tear my hair out) - Feb. 12th. Semiotics (not TOO hard but both written and oral on the SAME day and a lot of stuff to study) - Feb. 26th. Someone SHOOT me. Now. The fact that I actually LIKE the subject of two of these, kind of can work with one even if it's A LOT and that I absolutely and completely do-not-care about the other two doesn't exactly help. Argh. Again, shoot me. The only decent thing is that the exams schedule doesn't conflict too much with my TV schedule.

5. I'm up to episode 14 of Chuck S2!! I love it. So freaking much. I can't even believe how much I exactly love it.

At deancas_xmas: Dean's Favorite Christmas is just lovely and whoever my awesome mystery person is finally went and picked my prompt where Cas zaps Dean back to a Zeppelin concert which I tried to force upon poor anonymous people in exchanges for a good six months and never got picked up. It's totally adorable and heartwarming and just, awww.

At lostsquee: Big Bad Wolf (Jack/Damon from the vamp porn) is... THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER EXISTED. SERIOUSLY. People. If you haven't read it, go read it NOW. Right, it's a vampire porn crossover (which I didn't even ask for but I hadn't realized how much I actually needed it in my life until I read it), but as long as you know that Damon is a snarky vampire son of a bitch with a kinky mind and (mostly) no morals whatsoever, you don't have to know zilch about VD. COME ON. It features an awesome and snarky and deliciously evil POV, CROSSDRESSING which is not just lingerie, delicious crack, hothothothot sex that is just scorching, each voice COMPLETELY down pat, the best ending ever and it's just so AWESOME THAT I CAN'T EVEN FATHOM IT. GO READ IT. I need to spread the love. And even if I have my suspects about who is my mystery author, be sure that I'll worship you again properly after the reveal. <333

8. Random: I suddenly want to watch It's A Wonderful Life. Clearly tomorrow it's impossible because here they don't air it and I doubt it'd be too appreciated. *sigh* I'll bring the dvd and try to re-watch it on the 25th. 1. I had completely forgotten that on August 2nd my parents usually go to the land of singing children because it's my grandmother's name-day. I usually never go because I have friends around during that time but this year I don't and so I'm going too. Which means, leaving on Friday aka tomorrow and getting back on Sunday evening *sigh*. I'm not exactly too hyper about it because while I do love my grandmother I just got back from another three days out and I'm not looking forward to stepping on a train anytime soon (and it'll also set me back with seeing if I manage to go one week out with a friend next month *sigh again*). At least I'll have Internet there so maybe I won't get set back even with fandom. And it'll be even hotter than it's here, which is saying enough since one can barely even breathe. /stops whining

2. At least I think I'm almost done with the exchange fic. Fine, I need at least three more scenes but at least I can see the ending now. If I'm done with it tomorrow it'd be a good thing.

4. So, my mom's friends which lent us the house last year invited her for the weekend and I'm tagging along. Mostly because it's cool and it has a pool, after walking around all this city for nine days I'm dead tired and I can use three days off. Which means that I won't have an Internet connection in 99% of the possibilities, but maybe it'll actually be better because I'll just bring my laptop along with the luau requests I missed and instead of procrastinating I'll sit down and write.

5. Comma to point #4: I'm also counting on the three internet-less days to finish my Dean/Cas Secret Angels exchange fic (which right now stands at... uh, I dunno but definitely less than two pages) or at least to get most of it done. But since I wouldn't want to send it over without a beta reading first (also because if I get one characterization wrong then it won't stand on its feet), is there anyone who could give that a look towards, uhm, the mid of next week (I hope around Wednesday)? It'd be probably NC17 rated (or hard R, but my idea would be NC17) and.. er, I think it should end up being around 7500 words or so, but knowing yours truly there's a good chance it could get longer. And I need to have it sent before August 8th, even if I'd rather like to send it at least four-five days before. I don't think I'll end up having anything that should require warnings or disturbing stuff, but staying general, it'd be amnesia fic. Thanks in advance if anyone could do it. ;) ♥

1. Meh, I brought the laptop to the technician and there was some part which sort of was out of place. Which I guess it was the reason it couldn't find the operating system. For now it's working, but to be sure I passed everything into the regular one just to be sure.

2. To honor my new awesome icon, I didn't write J2 porn but nonetheless today I went into a complete writing frenzy. I had two free hours and the pauses between classes and now I have five ficlets and a couple of rough drafts for two which turned out longer. Erm. I'll spam you later for the reason in point 3, sorry in advance.

3. Since on Friday is the first of May and it's vacation and I'm free on Thursday, I caught the occasion and I'll be visiting my friend who came here last summer and lives near Turin. I'm leaving tomorrow night and coming back Sunday night. I therefore won't watch Lost until Monday, reason for which I probably will be MIA for anything Lost concerned. But, since my friend watches Supernatural, I'll probably write a reaction post for that. I will probably answer comments but won't be able to check the FL, so for that I'll probably be half MIA. But I'm really excited to go so yay for long weekends indeed.

1. I'm almost done with the cards. I need to write a couple and then this afternoon I'm mailing the whole bunch. I had some personalized, some weren't for lack of material, but for those who got them personalized, forgive my poor craftsmanship.

2. I hadn't realized that the posting period for the Hohoho fics was from the 24th. Well, I'll bring the monster on the laptop so that I can work a bit more on it when I leave tomorrow.

3. Regarding the previous point, tomorrow I leave until the 27th or 28th in order to spend Christmas with the family that isn't in town. I'll be presumably internet-less, but since my uncle that lives there has the internet at least in his room I'll see if I can sneak on from the laptop. Meanwhile it will probably be singing cousins who I'll have to threaten with Omar Little's presence as per elliotsmelliot's suggestion, if they haven't lost the inner desire to sing Christmas songs off key, I hope some studying done and I'm pretty sure the highlight will be watching the Judging Amy re-runs as usual.

5. So yesterday I went to finish the Christmas shopping and of course it ended with me buying more stuff for myself than what I should have done, but hey. It's done. And God, fine, Twilight has to be everywhere, but could bookshops spare me all the other vampire literature they have there exposed as the first thing you see?
