1. Meh, I brought the laptop to the technician and there was some part which sort of was out of place. Which I guess it was the reason it couldn't find the operating system. For now it's working, but to be sure I passed everything into the regular one just to be sure.

2. To honor my new awesome icon, I didn't write J2 porn but nonetheless today I went into a complete writing frenzy. I had two free hours and the pauses between classes and now I have five ficlets and a couple of rough drafts for two which turned out longer. Erm. I'll spam you later for the reason in point 3, sorry in advance.

3. Since on Friday is the first of May and it's vacation and I'm free on Thursday, I caught the occasion and I'll be visiting my friend who came here last summer and lives near Turin. I'm leaving tomorrow night and coming back Sunday night. I therefore won't watch Lost until Monday, reason for which I probably will be MIA for anything Lost concerned. But, since my friend watches Supernatural, I'll probably write a reaction post for that. I will probably answer comments but won't be able to check the FL, so for that I'll probably be half MIA. But I'm really excited to go so yay for long weekends indeed.

4. There are still a couple of songs to guess from last day's meme. ;)

2. Bruce Springsteen: it's a three-way tie and you can see two out of three somewhere in this journal and not in the entries. Actually, one is right in front of your eyes every time I comment. ;)

ETA: one is The Ghost Of Tom Joad guessed by [livejournal.com profile] wandersfound, to be updated on the original post tomorrow. Hint for the other two: one is on my default icon actually, two is on Born In The USA, but I like the version on Live 75-85 better. I mean that version actually.
3. The Doors: it's long. And it's not The End. It's on the second record. When The Music's Over, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] emiliglia
4. Patti Smith: it's in two parts actually.
12. Smashing Pumpkins: one-word title, it actually sounds half-optimistic even if knowing Billy Corgan it probably isn't, the video was kind of colorful and it's not on Mellon Collie. guessed by [livejournal.com profile] emiliglia on the other entry.
13. Stone Temple Pilots: it's a woman's name. It's not Daisy. Atlanta, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] emiliglia
14. Guns n' Roses: it's in an eighties record and it's one of the rare occasions where Axl doesn't scream his lungs out. Patience, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] emiliglia
15. U2: it's from Joshua Tree. It's not With Or Without You. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] hopelessfangirl
16. Red Hot Chili Peppers: it's on Californication. It's not that famous either and it has a kind of weird title. This Velvet Glove, guessed by [livejournal.com profile] emiliglia
24. Pearl Jam - I'm giving hints for the two I'm still undecided on which one my favorite. The first who guesses one gets it. One: one-word title, on the original record is before a very, very weird song. The title sounds very Victorian. Two: it has a very atmospheric title and it's not on the first two records.
25. Velvet Revolver: it's on Contraband. It's not Fall To Pieces.

5. That'd be all. I'll be in my bunk typing and be back later. And if I don't manage to make a serious entry before tomorrow, I hope everyone who has May 1st free has a good vacation! And that Lost is good, of course.
