1. Okay, that theory I read last week re Desmond running Locke so that he'd get to Jack and be operated and possibly walk again? Suddenly makes sense.

2. I like that things are coming together in the alt, even if I really would like to know what was Ilana's job. O__o I completely didn't get it.

3. Up in the air!George Clooney!Desmond being the agent of fate and whatnot is still creeping me out but duh. At least he's THERE.

4. Aw, Jack and Claire. Nice, except that of course you didn't get to talk.

9. Anyway, finally things are becoming exciting, in the alt I mean. Even if I still don't get how they can close this deal in four episodes. Not counting some spoilers I know about one of said four episodes, but I'm shutting up about that because I don't want to spoil anyone who doesn't want to know. But whoever knows has probably understood what I mean. Sorry for being so cryptic.

19. Okay, let's just talk about the highlight of this episode.

SAYID TOTALLY NOT KILLING DESMOND AT THE WELL.

OH, SHIP, I THOUGHT YOU LEFT ME BUT YOU DIDN'T. \o/ Seriously. He was so lying when he told Locke he had killed Desmond. He was SO lying. And Desmond finally doesn't look high anymore. And he totally told Sayid the right thing. Can I hope that this is what turns Sayid into a human being again? BECAUSE IF IT IS, OH, GOD, MY SHIP IS EPIC. It already was, more or less, but PLEASE DO HAPPEN.

I don't really want to be hyper about this because knowing them they'll ruin that for me the first five mins of next episode, but for now I will keep on safely believing that after f!Locke disappeared Sayid went to catch up with Desmond and they had hot, desperate, FELT sex in the jungle.

Anyway. That part = totally best part of the episode. Makes me ALMOST forget the crap they did with Jack.

20. I should say something about Kate and Claire too but I feel like I don't have anything interesting. Mostly, the first makes sense even if I don't care and I realized I completely lost touch with Claire as a character at least three seasons ago. :///

21. FRANK. MARRY. ME. HE EVEN HAD FOUR LINES. FOUR LINES!!!!!!! AND THEY WERE ALL GOOD.

Oh, Frank. <333 And LOL at Sawyer not remembering his name.

22. In conclusion: I need to write down my not-so-original theory before this show ends, I still don't get how they can wrap it up in four episodes, f!Locke needs to die and duh, seems like Jack is becoming the new Jacob or something? If he does, congratulations Darlton on not surprising anyone when it happens because it'd be totally not surprising. Which makes me think that it'll be someone else if only for shock value. Actually, considering that Sun/Jin talk, I'd be tempted to say that THEY would stay back together, but idk if that's too far out.

Even if nothing is too far out with this show, so. Who the hell knows.

Btw, I mostly really liked this. EXCEPT FOR THE ENDING, Sawyer being like IDEK WHAT TO THINK and F!Locke, but I never like f!Locke, so. And I weirdly missed the Ben/Richard party (maybe because Miles was there). WTF are they up to?

23. In conclusion, #2: I think that in the end, it's all a contest to see who blows more shit up.

And if it is, then Rousseau already won that four seasons ago. -nod-

I don't think Jack is on Team Flocke, he told Sawyer that maybe they should stay because Flocke wants them out of the Island so I'm guessing he is against him and Flocke doesn't seem to like it imo. I don't think he will turn into a zombie or anything. I liked what Jack did tbh, and I agree with his reasoning. Don't see anything crap about it.

The most important part of the episode: I hate Miles for confirming that Martin Keamy is indeed dead in the alt!verse. I'M IN DENIAL ABOUT THAT.

I love the Frank icon! I loved Sawyer's line about him walking out of a Burt Reynold's movie. I loved that he got 4 lines. Basically that is all I loved in the episode.

The Desmond/Sayid scene and any time Frank had a line (still sad that my Frank/Sun ship is over, though) were the highlights of an otherwise really exciting episode.

Upon further thought, I'm nervous that Jack got blown up in the same way that Claire got blown up in season 4 and will now have the darkness or whatever. I hate Flocke so much. HATE. Stop putting down real!Locke! Stop it, you douche!!! Widmore's another douche. I hate both of them. Jacob was sketchy as fuck, but now I am desperate to see him, just because he doesn't inspire me with the same kind of anger.

Honestly, I found Claire very creepy. Every time she appeared, I felt upset. But it's really nice for Kate to finally make her join them. And Frank, yes, he totally win. I really wish there'd be more scenes for him. I didn't expect Widmore to be such an asshole. I wish Eloise will appear in the future episodes and kick his ass! And I think Desmond and Sayid haven't met yet in the alt, have they? I'm really looking forward to that!

I *know*! But that still doesn't explain why Desmond/Widmore/Whoever wants him to walk in the Alt!Verse.

Because somehow in this Second Chance Alt!Live he turned into a harmless little pussycat. Which I kind of like. Depending on which way the pendulum swung, Sawyer turned into a cop or a criminal and Ben turned into a mild-mannered schoolteacher or an evil mastermind. ;D

I think Locke just thinks Jack is on his side. Jack has never really been on anyone's side though, especially if it involves doing something he doesn't want to do. And Claire can shove her theory on that. A lot of people talked to Locke. That doesn't make them all his slaves.

Also? I said this in a previous episode review: "...does Smokey really think he can get the rest of the candidates to leave the island with him? I mean, that would entail convincing *Jack* to do something he doesn't necessarily want to do while wearing Locke's face." I stand by that.

Had I stopped to think about it, that totally should've been obvious, especially where Jack gave Locke his business card at the beginning of the season. I think I was stuck on Des trying to KILL Locke instead of just injure him. *facepalm* Hindsight is 20/20!

Lol, as Krys said, I was indeed freaking out on AIM, and I am indeed just thinking the worst, because I totally agree with you, there's no way Sayid killed Des and that is epic. There's a number of reasons. One: If Sayid was totally zombified and therefore remorseless, he wouldn't have made a comment to fLocke that Desmond was unarmed; it wouldn't have mattered to him. He also wouldn't have let Desmond ask questions, he would've shot him and had done with it. Also we didn't see a death and this show is all about deaths.

But still I was freaking out because DNW crazy!Sayid to kill slightly-less-crazy!Des.

Okay, so I still haven't watched all of this episode, because the streaming just gave up on me, but anyway.

This is especially appropriate because everyone expected there to be some epic Sayid-Desmond confrontation related to Penny and the Ben-Widmore feud. But S5, of course, didn't really deliver on any front. *cough* Bitter? Not much.

The most Lost-spoilery thing I do atm, and pretty much have done all season, is peaking at reaction posts before having seen the episode. I can't live without Castiel!spoilers - although I fret about them - but it's actually very liberating to watch Lost without constantly worrying about whether your fave character will make it to the next season/episode. Feeling zen.
