What makes it perfect, Dean thinks, is the balance. Between each of them, and between the three of them.

It’s not a question of right or wrong, they got past that way too much time ago; it’s just that Sam knows Dean inside out, body and mind, but Cas understands him in a way Sam couldn’t, and it’s not to put anyone down. Before, it would have been a problem; it has been a problem. Now it’s an advantage, because everything is changed and they all chose each other. Not between each other.

Apparently, all it took to get past it was team free will happening. Though now that the Apocalypse is done with and they all survived it, it’s better. Then again. They aren’t risking their lives on a minute basis anymore, after all.

What almost made him cry in relief, at the beginning, is that Sam had never forgotten, even with Ruby and everything else in between; he still knows each single spot that, properly touched, will make Dean writhe in pleasure, he knows what drives him crazy, he knows where Dean likes to be touched and where he doesn’t, and he remembers everything about what Dean really, really likes in bed.

Mainly, that he doesn’t want control for how much he pretends the contrary.

Time has passed, though, and some things changed and that’s where Sam can’t get him, can’t understand him as well; but those things are the ones Cas knows. He might have done the whole sex business for a lot less than the both of them, but with Dean, he’s never wrong. He knows when they’re doing things right or might be going too rough or too fast, or when Dean’s just about reached his limits (they changed, since Hell); fuck, he freaking put his body back together again, you’ll have to give a guy some trust, all things considered.

Dean is perfectly conscious that he’s the catalyst that brought his brother and his angel to this, but by now it’s not just about him anymore (and it’s okay, because he doesn’t want anything to be about him entirely anymore, not since he had an Apocalypse to go through because of that), because they like each other genuinely, they actually fucking team up against him most times, and well. There’s something about them.

Like, right now, there’s something about them that turns him desperately on as they kiss while he’s lying down on the bed and they’re kneeling at his sides; Sam’s fingers are actually pushing slowly inside Dean, working him up again after he came down Cas’ throat just two minutes ago, and while doing this, his mouth is an inch from Cas’ and his tongue is licking Dean’s come from Cas’ lips, which are red and sticky and almost an obscene sight. They kiss slowly, without rush, their tongues caressing each other, and damn, it’s enough of a sight to get Dean half-hard again; Cas then glances at him, then at Sam (who nods) and when he moves his right hand from Sam’s hip Dean just knows what he wants. (And even if he never has much of a say in what happens when the door closes, he likes it like this. Mostly because they never, never forget that he’s there even when they’re wrapped up in each other. Sure, fine, he’s at their mercy almost completely and he doesn’t even get to come unless one of them says that he can and he’s usually agreeing with the other, anyway, but he gets a thrill out of it and he wants it so much it’s almost scary.)

Now, Sam is thrusting hard inside him, his eyes going to Cas’ once in a while to see if he should go slower or if it’s becoming too much (he has a problem with controlling himself still, but Cas hasn’t. See? Balance), and he’s hitting his prostate mercilessly without respite, exactly the way he knows drives Dean crazy; at the same time Cas is holding Dean up from behind, one hand jerking him off slowly (in total contrast with Sam’s pace, just so that he really goes completely crazy) while the other’s fingers are actually sliding inside him alongside Sam’s dick and his lips press open-mouthed kisses on the side of Dean’s face.

If, after that, Cas grabs the back of his head and kisses him so hard that for a second Dean thinks he might bruise, he won’t complain. Not when Sam looks quite appalled at the sight.

After, Dean always tries to move to the door’s side of the bed in automatic. Something always unclenches inside him when they stop him before he can (either one of them or both). He always ends up in the middle. Usually Cas will have an arm around him and Sam one around the both of them (the freak has long enough arms to reach Cas’ hip). And if suddenly he wakes up at night for not exactly happy reasons, he’ll feel Cas’ fingers on his stomach, pressing almost possessively, or Sam’s lips near his cheek and he’ll just go back to sleep. He doesn’t think he’ll be able to say it out loud, but it’s almost scary how much he loves them both.

Then again, he’s pretty sure they know that as well as they know him.
