Gah! I just spent all afternoon reading this and I LOVED it, I was kinda sad to reach the end of it to be honest. it's well paced and sweet and I really enjoyed it so thanks for writing :D
Did you have someone look over this when writing? I only ask because some of your sentence structure is a little off and I think it could benefit from a beta having a look over it as it can be a bit distracting, personally it doesn't bother me too much, I'm dyslexic so I'm used to it but other reader's might find it off putting.
It's an awesomely sweet story thou :)
ETA:- I read the author's note's sorry, I see you used a beta but I do think it could use a second set of eye's or even a third, sometimes running i threw a spell check isn't enough, not that I'm saying that's what your beta did, god's I'm coming off as a right moaner and I'm really not, but this is a great story I just think it needs a little more tweaking to get it just right! sorry to nit pick!
ALSO Fantastic music, I think I own nearly every record you mentioned, I'm not a hug Bob fan myself but I do like some of his work. I also had a small squee when you included the Zeppelin BBC session's travelling riverside blues :D
