Oh dear, half are fic related and half are fanmix related. Anyway, I have:

Ennio Morricone, I bought some and the rest I downloaded. The rest... well, for 80% of my favorite artist I have everything on cd and then I download it even if I have it. The only things that I only have downloaded/on mp3 are bootlegs, music from artists I want to check out (and I buy it if I like it), stuff from fanmixes and demos/things I can't find in shops. But uhm, last time I counted my records I had more than 800 and it was two years ago, so music industry can suck it up if I decide to download stuff once in a while.

Bruce Springsteen. It says... uhm. 169 albums and 1826 songs, but it's more than that since some bootlegs have the year instead of the artist (yeah idek) and I still need to sort that out.

1. Do you own a favorite plushie?
Uhm, I used to have one but it disappeared when I moved and I was twelve. It was... uhm, Simba from the Lion King I think. I got it for Christmas the year it came out.

2. What does your nickname mean?
LJ (janie_tangerine): janie is from Jon Bon Jovi's Janie Don't Take Your Love To Town (I was twelve, I was about to open my first e-mail address and I wanted a BJ related name, but I wanted it neutral and Janie was the only name of a girl I could find in any song of theirs and I liked it, and it stuck), tangerine is both my favorite fruit and my favorite Led Zeppelin song. Twitter/Tumblr/everywhere else (janiedean): janie for the same reason, dean for Eddie Dean from the Dark Tower series. The fact that half of the people that I like is somehow named Dean isn't relevant - it was for THAT Dean.

3. Which kind of clothing would you always wear?
A skirt and a t-shirt. Or a casual dress. And I kind of would always go barefoot if I could

4. What are you going to do when you finish this meme?
Try to work through another chapter on this book I need to finish before the week-end and possibly finish writing this AU fic from hell that has eaten my brain the last two days.

I have absolutely no recollection. I guess I haven't hugged anyone lately.

7. Which is the last movie you saw?
Prime, aka what would have been a total waste of time if not for Uma Thurman being gorgeous and wearing pink. Or well, it was cute until a certain point but then it could have been a nice movie and proved certain points and it didn't. And the ending was the worst cheat since.. I don't even know. Waste of time.

8. What's your favorite kind of book to read?
Dystopians. Or well, there aren't many genres I won't read (mostly: if it features vampire and it's a serious thing and Stephen King didn't write it, I'll probably give it a pass. I also don't do YA stuff unless it's recced everywhere and anything concerning the Templars or the Catholic Church will make me fall asleep after ten pages, but for the rest I'm pretty flexible), but I guess I'd go for that if I have to pick one.

Hazelnut.

Opera singer. Except that I can't sing. Then I wanted to be a fashion designer and I realized I couldn't draw and it wasn't my thing anyway. Then I decided that I wanted to be a writer, and now I'm studying philosophy. Knowing my luck I'll get a job that isn't related with any of these.

14. Have you ever had a weirdass dream?
I don't remember half of what I dream, but from the ones I remember.. there was one where me and my mom were in Paris and we were going to see Naveen Andrews in some stage thing and he started hitting on my mom (seriously). And once I dreamed that Scott Weiland was giving a press conference about his second solo record at my former junior high (idek), everyone was asking him about him doing drugs while he wanted to talk about the music, and he looked like he was about to cry and so I went there and hugged him and told him I loved his stuff and he was all happy. Idek. And another time I dreamed I was in junior high again and Bon Jovi members came in during science class and explained us how system of internal organs worked. That probably takes the crown.

15. What are you doing this week?
Studying. Writing fic. Also studying. And also facepalming and procrastinating and studying and procrastinating and facepalming and fic writing.

16. What's the last book you read?
Novel-speaking, Vonnegut's Mother Night. Everything else speaking, a book about presocratic philosophers in Ancient Greece. And I'm reading one on the exact same matter.

17. What's your fangirlish obsession?
Historical, Jon Bon Jovi. A bit less historical, Lost. (both of them are still happening.) Right now: Misha Collins.

Any kind of pasta with pesto sauce. Mm.

3. Phew. Well that took like a lot, but at least I did check out from studying for a while. That said, if I manage to keep with my studying schedule, this week I'm finishing revising my spn_j2_bigbang story and start on the dc_everafter one. Since after then I'll have finals looming pretty much every week. Anyway, anyone would be up for betaing the former? I'm attaching the summary/warnings that I put on the claiming post.

Summary: western AU. Dean Winchester is a bounty hunter, set to catch a group of killers in order to get the money and retire from the business. Castiel is another bounty hunter aiming for the rich businessman who pays that same group of killers to do his dirty work, but for personal reasons. They decide to work together. It doesn't go as smoothly as it could.

Warnings: violence, violence and then some violence, character death for a premise and happening throughout the fic, mention of an attempted rape happened before the story starts but not too graphic, torture (the act itself is not described in a graphic way, but the scene stops just before it and it has relevant consequences), someone gets permanently scarred, language (that might possibly be historically inaccurate, but otherwise it wouldn't make the point).

It's around 25000 by now, should be a bit more than that but still under 30k when I'm done editing. I should probably specify that with character death happening throughout the fic, I mean that neither Dean or Castiel is in the character death quota, but basically since it's a spaghetti western extravaganza you get a bunch of red shirts dying. Anyone? I'm posting on July 29th so I don't really need it back in a day, but I figured that the sooner it's off for betaing the better I can polish it and change stuff if I need it. Any takers?

5. Okay, I should probably go finish my book and finish that other fic. Let's see if I can put off procrastination.

Lol I learned because I wanted to be like John Paul Jones. Yeah, I like underrated people. Then I couldn't keep on going to lessons for time reasons but I'll pick it up again at some point.

I'm trying too but I'm mostly iffy on how they're approaching the whole thing. I mean, movies -and- tv makes no sense - I'd go for one or the other. Also because the DT's fanbase has way lower numbers than, idk, Harry Potter (for which either way you go people would see it). Also I'm getting worried that they might tone down the parts supposed to air on TV and ugh, I'm trying to stay cautiously neutral. I'll see when it happens, but if it had been a miniseries on HBO I'd be happier, lol.

Yeah Roland is hard. I think Viggo Mortensen would be the closest one - if you don't give him the Aragorn haircut/facial hair he has the looks and the chops, but then again Roland is a feat to pull off. The only one I could picture 100% is Clint, but well. ;) I'd just like for them to pick someone that at least has similar looks, lol. I guess I'll be here waiting and hoping that JB pulls it off, if he's confirmed 100%.

i kind of always thought that a long animated series would have been the way to go - very graphic novel type animation, not cartoony or anime (dear god not anime) on HBO or something, definitely not for kids!

i mean, there's jake to consider and they can't just stunt some kid's growth to keep him looking the right age throughout the whole thing!

I totally could have got behind the animated series on HBO or somewhere where they let them be as graphic as needed.

And yeah, that too. Either the do a LOTR thing and shoot all at once in two years or three or I can't see how they'd work with that. Especially since with Wizard & Glass you have a movie's worth of stuff without anyone from the regular group and if they shot in order it'd lose them a year... oh well. I'll see what they go for. And who they cast for Eddie because that's my main issue. XD
