The first character I fell in love with: Damon. Well, I started watching the show for Ian and basically stuck through the first craptastic six eps just for him, lolol.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Stefan. In the beginning I was like 'wtf don't care boring', then I realized I liked Paul's hips and then he actually showed some depth and then I was sold on his awesomeness. Also I should probably say Jeremy - after S1 I had written him off as 'omg emo kid stop it' and this season he totally was so awesome that I had to be sold.
The character everyone else loves that I don't: Katherine? I can't wt stand her face and never will but apparently people like her. XD
The character I love that everyone else hates: Bonnie. WHY. Bonnie needs all the love in the world.
The character I used to love but don't any longer: I started not giving a shit about anyone except Damon, I can't answer this question. XD I like everyone! More or less.
The character I would shag anytime: ... Damon, what a question. ;) though Damon AND Alaric at the same time would be ideal.
The character I'd want to be like: Alaric! Minus the drinking. Mmh. Okay, wait, Jenna. XD she was cool incarnated. *mourns*
The character I'd slap: Klaus. HANDS OFF STEFAN, YOU. Also WHY KILL YOUR AWESOME BROTHER.
My five favorite characters: Damon, Alaric, Bonnie, Caroline, Stefan.
My five least favorite characters: Katherine, Tyler's mom, Vicki, those idiotic werewolves who tortured Caroline at some point in S2, Klaus.

Can you not stand Elena's face? Lol. Just curious now.

I couldn't stand Bonnie in S2, mostly because of the abusive witch stuff and how she cut Caroline off for a while. I liked her in S1 when everyone hated her and now it's been flipped, strangely.

Stefan/Elena has become more tolerable with time.

Elena's face is NOT Katherine's face. ;) Or well I probably used stupid wording given the case XD but while I do love Elena I just can't stand Kat. ;)

Yeah that wasn't some nice stuff, but I felt the same way as in S1. Like, she had her reasons to do a bunch of the things she did - Caroline for one. I didn't like the cutting off either but considering Bonnie's experiences I couldn't exactly blame her. And I still think she's awesome.

I just like that they have a pretty responsible relationship. I never ship canon couples, I'm baffled that I actually ship them at all. ;)

I agree I rarely ship canon but this show accomplishes an impossible task. They somehow make a steady relationship NOT BORING. I don't know how they do it, but it works.
