So, I went and bought myself 'Blaze', just because even if more than one time I went and hated the man's guts I still like him and whatever, I was curious. Also if I sincerely prefer when he writes as himself because Bachman stuff kinda creeps the hell out of me, at least the ones I read (the Long walk? Waaaaaaay fucked up plot, man, way fucked up, but brilliant XD). So I go and read it. And, well, ok, maybe some spoilers so I cut that.
That said, and you just HAVE listen to these because they're ilarious. And I thought that when Backstreet Boys sand stuff in italian it was pathetic but original.
I didn't have any idea of these.
Sieee liiieeebt diiich yeah yeah yeaaaaah XD they are just SPLENDID XD
Also if my personal favourite is German_I wanna hold your hand. Just too funny XD
Well, in the foreword he was right because the whole concept of that is something you can have when you are young, bold and without shame, because, hell... OF MICE AND MEN? Where the fuck did he have that IDEA? I mean. Man, you are good. i know that, thanks. Really good. But John Steinbeck? Kinda beyond your reach, sorry here. But anyway, when you go past the shock of discovering that he actually did something I do in fanfiction but with his original characters, it wasn't bad at all.
For being Bachman stuff, I think that 'The long walk' is still the best one, though this one was close. I liked the characterization, but hell, it's what he does best. The hard-boiled-thing style wasn't bad at all, but it was obvious he had rewritten it. Whatever, he did much worse and A LOT better. For example, Lisey's story was MUCH better, but of course, he wrote it recently. Mmh, anyway, worth buying on paperback. But...
Of mice and men..? I don't think I'm ever, ever going to grasp how he did it. [Of course, the original is a whole other thing. Oh, Steinbeck, how do I love you. Ok, stop rambling XD]
Oh. And anyway. Stephen. First you make Clay with homosexual tendencies and then they run a QUEER con. Will you just STOP, get two GAY characters in your books and get them to action since you practically hand me slash on a plate?
Oh. If you watch Lost, you'll get more than a good laugh out of it, since they run cons. I just have to write Sawyer doing the queer con now. I have to, I really do.. XDDD
Right, I'll go finish The brothers Karamazov.
