Alright, sorry for the subsequent spamming but as I'm leaving tomorrow and I don't know whether I'll manage to get online/check out stuff here until the 20th I'm doing the summer cleaning ;) and even if it isn't the subject of this post, first thing of all, isn't my new moodtheme the most awesome thing in the planet?

halfdutch is going to have my endless and perpetual thanks for it ;) ♥ Now there isn't anything in my LJ which hasn't prettyness on. Not that I complain, heck no.

Then, to be updated in case of late surprises, here is the round up of the goodies I received on my Queen day at

lostsquee. It was on July 27th and my request was Hearts and Minds, with bare feet, Desmond/Sayid and Boone as back up plans.

With some great Boone/Shannon fics, some Jack/Boone which is always welcome since hey, neglected OTP anyone?, dbah!Boone visiting both Desmond and Hurley, some awesome Boone character studies and the best Desmond/Sayid sex in the universe or something. Not bad, huh?

- Blown Out Heart by

lenina20: one of the most beautiful and empathic Boone (and Boone/Shannon) fics I ever read. Starts from a very intriguing premise and then rips your heart in pieces in the best possible way.

- The Darkest Nights Are The Best for Lovers by

kellysparrow: excellent Jack/Boone which made me completely flail. A great insight on both characters and it's quite hot too!

- Guilt on Your Shoulders, Blood on Your Hands by

toestastegood: like, all of my favorite things in a perfectly neat package. Perfect, perfect Desmond POV, a phone call with Sayid that broke me in pieces, the right amount of Des/Penny and dbah!Boone and Charlie being absolutely awesome.

- Heart vs Mind by

elise_509 (shared with

haldoor): a Jack/Boone snippet which has to be one of the best Boone character studies ever. Hot, angsty and perfect writing.

- Only The Dead Have Access by

elliotsmelliot: whatever gets Desmond and Boone in the same scene is gold for me and this fic is a gem. The characterization is spot on perfect, there's dbah!Boone being assigned to Desmond (uhm, yes, dreams do come true?), verges on heartbreaking most times and I'd gladly take it as my S5 canon.

- Dancing Feet by

eponine119: bare feet + Boone and Shannon before things became too complicated = utter win, and this one is such a beautiful and poetic piece, with such a good insight into their relationship.

- Whisperings of the Silenced by

falafel_fiction (shared with

hopelessfangirl and

demonqueen666: dbah!Boone goes to visit Hurley in Santa Rosa and reflects on everything happened up to this point. A truly heartbreaking piece which is incredibly well written, honest and thought-provoking. Not to mention a few devastating sections, but it's just beautiful.

- Reunion by

zelda_zee (shared with

elliotsmelliot): well, case is that one of my three favorite fics ever period is

zelda_zee's Under the Blood Red Flag and this is part of it. And with the subsequent bit put me in what my friend called NC-17 bliss for two days. The writing is astonishing and I mean, Desmond/Sayid pirate sex? Can I ask for more? The blue shirt, you say? Well, that was featured in the coda ;)

- Bare Feet by

inthekeyofd: such a lovely piece, and with my favorite kink and my favorite character! It's a very plausible Boone character study which for once features a sympathetic Sabrina (something I always admire) and a plot I can totally relate to since I always do what he does here, too ;)

- A Walk to Remember by

demonqueen666: a lovely Charlie/Claire scene which is just everything I loved about the pairing when I was into it (see: before Fire + Water).

- Quiz Me by

hopelessfangirl: a Shannon/Boone piece which is just hysterical. Their voices are perfect, the take on the prompt is very literal but incredibly well done and it's one of the funniest things I read in a while.

- Seek and Ye Shall Find by

haldoor: what one should say with an extremely hot NC17 Jack/Boone with a side of Sawyer who's not only watching but kind of participating, with an amazing characterization overall? How to hit 90% of my buttons in one time, and in such a good way.

- Fortune Favors the Bold by

gottalovev (shared with

haldoor and

halfdutch): extremely well written and hot encounter between Jack and Boone at the airport before the flight leaves. Hot as hell, perfect writing, an excellent Boone voice and plainly amazing overall.
