This is so not happy or fluffy or anything else but when you commented somewhere that you used to like Nirvana a lot and then you asked for Jack I had to dust this off. Because I had like three sections written since ages and I never brought myself to go forward, but I always wanted to actually write something regarding why the hell does Jack like grunge music so much and I swear it was done out of pure love. I ♥ Jack like, a lot. And I have a bit of Jack/Sawyer in there too, even if sorry again, nothing of the HAPPY! sort.
Notes #2: if I ever wrote something music-inspired where the music is an integral part of the whole thing, this is it. So I used box.net because it should give you the possibility to hear stuff without downloading if you open the link in another window, either from the direct one on the song or from the widget I put in the bottom. And I sincerely hope it didn't end up being cryptic or something. I'm so nervous about this really. Also, the Uncut copy really exists. I own it. And I know that Janis Joplin isn't grunge, it's just that IMHO her song fits. ;) Uh, and Scentless Apprentice and Gouge Away were the ones in the actual show. Okay. I'm shutting up.

Alright, sorry for the subsequent spamming but as I'm leaving tomorrow and I don't know whether I'll manage to get online/check out stuff here until the 20th I'm doing the summer cleaning ;) and even if it isn't the subject of this post, first thing of all, isn't my new moodtheme the most awesome thing in the planet? halfdutch is going to have my endless and perpetual thanks for it ;) ♥ Now there isn't anything in my LJ which hasn't prettyness on. Alright, vacation with friends is over and I'm alone in the city again, with a heat that raised up at least three grades in the last week. *sigh* Right, it's August and I'm in Italy and it happens every time, so I should be expecting that and I was but argh, it's becoming unbearable this round. I just hope it cools off a bit soon.

(Un)fortunately (?) my walkman and Hurley's aren't really on the same wave, some of the choices were done for pure crack value and there isn't Arzt or Ethan... but there's Rose AND Vincent! ;) I'll explain everything under the cut anyway so don't fear.
