OMG. Like, OMG. Like, OMG. *is dead from the squeeage*
Team YAY CHARACTER CENTRICS AGAIN!!
1. They seriously should realize they're better with the whole flashbacks device. Please stick to it.
2. The bit at the beginning was good. Even if of course, now we have the proof that Sayid... has daddy issues too! *rolls eyes* Can someone please tell me who does not have daddy issues in this show?
3. MR AVELLINO IS BACK, BITCHES.
Sorry, that guy is so the average Italian-with-mafia-collisions person whose family would totally get a bounty hunter that it restores some faith in me that those idiots can actually do research.
4. Woah, Sayid really can stand the cold. Outside with only the leather jacket in Russia??? I've always known he was that awesome.
Team Sayid, I'm totally yours forever or something
5. Oh God. I loved this episode. And I love Sayid like woah. This was some of the best characterization they had lately. I absolutely loved that conversation with Ben at the beginning (when he asked what did he have to do? *sniffs*) and the whole you're-a-killer/no-I'm-not/yes-I-am thing made uttermost sense character wise. Wow. Even if now I wonder what'll be of him. I mean, he accepted that he's a killer and thinks he changed the future probably (ah, what irony, especially since if something sends Ben dark side it'll be this?), but what's in there for him now? Ah, Sayid, I love your angsty and tormented self.
6. Naveen Andrews is too good for his own good.
7. God, during that fake-torture part I didn't know where I had to turn. On one side I liked all the CM references and I thought that Josh did a great work in there because it was written all over his face that it was what he was thinking about, on the other side I was thinking that high!Sayid might be the cutest thing ever and then I heard what he was saying and I wanted to cry because 'because I'm a bad man'...? OH, Sayid. *heart breaks into tiny little pieces*
8. It makes sense that he shot Ben. If he knew he couldn't change the past I'm sure he wouldn't have done it, but here? It made sense. Of course he thought he'd have avoided a lot of trouble, but then again it's obvious that Ben's surviving. Of course he is. Argh, this is tragic.
9. I like the almost-sexing with Ilana. Can't care for her, not still, but I see the point of her existence. Also, I'm not sure she's not working for Ben or Widmore but whatever. Also, since she didn't have sex with Sayid, maybe she won't be doomed too soon.
10. Sayid drinks Widmore's whiskey! Well, the same brand.
See what I need to do to ship... *sigh*
Team eyefucking ftw
11. All the Sawyer/Sayid interaction? Gold. Pure gold. I loved Sawyer this ep. and how he was trying to keep stuff together and save Sayid's ass while keeping his position. Their scenes were very, very, very good.
Team quadrangle mess
12. I still like how they're dealing with things. I like that Sawyer hasn't dumped Juliet on the spot because that's what I was fearing. I like that he's having mature interaction with Kate, who of course had to be interrupted as soon as she was going to say why she came back. *rolls eyes* Writer's fault here of course.
13. Hurley gossiping = awesome. Still... when are they going to use him not for comic relief? *sigh*
14. Jack just looked pretty this round but it was awesome that Kate was like 'and you're going to let Sawyer do as he wants?' and Jack is all good and relaxed and ''course I am, just give me some more food'. *snickers*
15. The Kate/Juliet scene was good too even if of course promo = misleading.
Team everything else
16. The van on fire was obviously young!Ben's doing, right?
17. And the guy who was almost killing him for bringing Sayid the sandwiches was his dad, right? I can't remember the guy's face but I'm sure he was around.
18. Also, was I the only one thinking that Ben making sandwiches and supposedly not knowing how to make one = Juliet in S3 making hamburgers? Scratch it, that's just me overthinking stuff.
19. Dharma people are the worst kind of democrats, huh? And Amy = shut up. Blah.
20. God, Radzinsky is insufferable. The only thing that makes me puzzled is that if he blew his brains up when paired with Kelvin then Kelvin must have been worse than him, which in turn means that Desmond really has the patience of a saint. Well, that was contorted but whatever.
21. I still don't believe that when Michael Emerson was supposed to be Henry Gale they had thought about him knowing them all from before. But it's a cool twist. I want to see how it plays out.
22. I liked Sayid not wanting to take that plane. Even if I still can't understand why he wouldn't want to go back. I mean, it's not like his O6 life hasn't sucked until now apart from Nadia but whatever.
23. In short OMG I LOVED IT and with last week's best-episode-of-the-season-indeed and Sayid, I'm kinda yours.
24. Even if I miss Desmond like woah.
25. I'm sure I had something else to say but I kinda forgot it. Ah well. Maybe it's still the shock of His Prettiness being cast in something which has clouded my brain.
26. ETA: It had indeed because how couldn't I recognize J.F. Sebastian from Blade Runner being Dharma's torturer??? *headdesk* My mind was clouded by Naveen's awesomeness I guess. How could I not recognize him on the spot? I knew I had seen him somewhere but I hadn't realized!! Where are the toys, and where's Roy Batty? ;) ;) That was so awesome!!
