OH. MY. GOD.

*dies*

That looks so damn amazing!

And even though I'm planning a major post with a very spoilery recap of the spoilers I read and a ton of assumptions based on that, under the cut there's some trailer-spoilery-squeeing.

1. For once I was damn right, I KNEW half of the people hadn't left the island at all and Jack wanted to go back for that. Oh, Jack, I so trusted you not to have gone completely crazy for no practical reason. *sighs*

2. So. Sawyer's staying on Team Locke. And he leaves Kate there.

You know what? Sawyer, you win. Sorry but I don't like Kate and Sawyer/Kate doesn't work for me at all. Neither does Jack/Kate but at least that one's got some decent basis. Because when he likes her and she likes another, no way. *shakes head at Kate and compliments with Sawyer* And I hope they give us a break from the triangle.

3. The first freighter guy, not the asian one, the other, looks very kinda cool. I could like him. Uh.

4. And Locke survives and he isn't in the coffin! Well if team Locke is still on the island at S3 FF it can't be him neither Sawyer. Which makes me happy.

5. Hurley centric episode! YAY! Though the graveyard scene, uhm, guess Charlie's got something to do with it?

6. I so have the idea that Jack's gonna fuck things up without realizing it. *sighs and pets him*

7. DESMOND! Guh. He's... just... uhm, guh?

8. OH-MY-SAYID. Now, on Sayid I think he's on team Jack because also he's got something up his sleeve. I'm greedy. I want episode 3. Hem.

Oh damn, show, I want you back.

figured Jack's insanity was because he left people behind, I assumed unwillingly, but the trailer seems to imply some sort of group spilt, and some or all of Jack's party gets off. (I haven't read spoilers, so I'm going only by what the trailer shows.)

Well I read spoilers but without saying too much you should have got it right, Team Jack should get off, though they still haven't said who is precisely with Locke and who is with Jack, and I think at least some of the ones who go are going to regret it and that's why Jack is going crazy, at least IMHO...

New people definitely have potential and I hope they keep what they promise... and well..

Of course, who’s kidding, in the end I would throw out all logic and just pick whatever side the guy with the blue shirt stood on.

And you'd probably be right on that. I, for one, wholeheartedly agree with that logic. Ok, seriously, problem is that Jack has the most good intentions in the world but Locke usually always knows better than him. Except when he goes all 'the island demands stuff' *sighs*. Mh, oh well, we can put faith in the blue shirt and I guess it won't let us down.

At least we would have something pretty to look at if it all goes to hell!

So most definitely. And anyway that shirt is at least as powerful as Jacob, considering its effects. Maybe it's the key of the whole show? *ponders* Though maybe it is, since it couldn't possibly disappoint in any case.

I think you're onto something. This would mean of course, the shirt would become the next sacrifice the island demanded. I foresee a scene where it gets ripped off, fights a polar bear, and is left in shreds, leaving poor Desmond to go shirtless for the rest of the series. In the end it would return to save them all, along with help from Sawyer's glasses.

You imagine what an amazing thing would be? Poor little blue shirt, all ripped and forced to leave Desmond without it! He really couldn't wear anything else now. But sure, it'd team up with the glasses and then Jacob would have to surrender to their power. Because I mean, the shirt and the glasses? Totally the best combination ever. Then Desmond would be happily having it back, the blue shirt would be even happier to be with Desmond and it would bring back all the dead people and the island itself would surrender to it too. Oh, that'd be delightful.
